Yep, the dual corruption of Oleg and Stan against their institutions has been laid out and executed slowly but brilliantly. Oleg scenes in particular are gripping, and they have absolutely nothing to do with the greater plot.

Another sloooowwww burn episode that's hopefully building up to something epic. Next week's previews lead me to believe things are really about to pick up.

I'm not very concerned about the slow burn because we know that next season is the last. The writers are freaking money. They know what they are doing. I think this seasons trickle is going to turn into a flood next season. It'll all be worth it.

I'm curious about the Twan thing....something about him has seemed off to me all season. Wouldn't that be a ***** if he was a double agent?

No not really. The scenes from next week were a bit more interesting b/c it looks like something fishy going on with the Twan kid.

Also found Oleg's boss not giving a single eff whether he was in trouble or not interesting. He's completely isolated.

This is an interesting article. I had no idea the show was slated to end in 2018.

Weird I never noticed it much, not sure why it seemed more apparent this time.

There was a scene that had her in profile....she was facing to the left of the screen....and it seemed much more noticeable than ever. Only in that one scene though. It was just the camera angle and lighting I suppose.

That's what they are trying to push, that he is connected to Phillip. Remember that the father loved the brother that died in Afghanistan, and was cool to him. Maybe he has doubts that Oleg is really his son.

Using big words and making me Google then

Seems a guarantee that Henry will be out of the picture next season If something big does go down, leaves the chance that Henry might never learn of his parents' identities before they disappear (ala Martha's parents).

Either way, this show does tend to throw lots of balls in the air during a season, and not always maintain each plot line. I imagine one big thing will drop at the end of this season to set up a cliffhanger going into next season. Either:

*Oleg provides some type of intelligence to Stan before he's executed/imprisoned
*Tuan or Stan's girlfriend turn out to be involved beyond what the Jennings know.
*Phillip breaks and goes rogue to some degree.
*Paige commits to follow her mom's footsteps, or finds out the truth about her parents activities
