I just finished it last night. Bateman hooks up with Ruth before Bluecat chick is my bet. At the end of the scene she pulls off the Sharon Stone move. End of Season 2, and no idea if he is alive or not.

Enjoyed the ride but it wore on me after a while.

I finished this up this week.

I thought it was pretty good. I think it lost me a little bit towards the end of the season but was still an entertaining watch.

I absolutely love the Langmore clan. Something about their backwoods, white trash, inbred persona peaked my interest. They're pretty dumb but also pretty smart.

I want a bit more about how he is actually washing the money. I want to hear or see him actually doing it. I think at one point we saw some of it when he was talking about redoing the cabins or something, but I want more. Not sure how they'd do it but a little more than 'Oh I bought a lodge. We're good' would be nice.

Speaking of the lodge I want more on the chick. How'd she end up here running a lodge on her own? Is Tuck (the downs syndrome kid) her son? If so what happened to his dad? I think her character could play a bigger part and think it could be a nice side story.

Overall a pretty good to solid watch. Nice change of pace and I think Bateman is nails. I'm in for S2.

i agree. They could have made this 13 episodes with more of the backstories. It was good, but it could have done more. It is not like it has huge action scenes

The poppy guy is one of the more perfectly sinister acted roles in a long time. His parabole like stories with their metaphors are always intense.

Just wish I could understand what he's saying. Always have to turn the captions on when he talks.

His wife is straight backwoods, inbred BSC.

Mr. Schnell/Shnell's "Missouri" accent was mentioned earlier in the thread. I noticed it as well when I was watching a few weeks back, I got the same vibe on that accent as I did from Rick on The Walking Dead. So I checked. As suspected, the dude's a Brit. Hence why his accent is goofy. That stated, in general, I still think British actors do a better Southern accent than their non Southern American counterparts.

I enjoyed this series way more than Stranger Things. I like the violence, money laundering and intrigue more so than the dorky D&D games.

I've never heard or read anyone make that claim. I've seen where people say it reminds them of BB, but that's it

My two cents: Finally finished the season. It was good enough to hold my interest, but watching each episode almost felt like a chore. I like dark shows, but this one was too much for me.

In the end, the payoff of the final epiosode wasn't worth it. There's too much good tv on these days to be beholden to any show.

Overall it was good but just so totally dark. Tough to stay emotionally connected for 10 hours or so of viewing. Will watch season 2 though I think.

Watched all 10 episodes in 2 days. I don't know if "enjoy" is the right word but was thouroughly entertained - parts were pretty dark that I did feel dirty watching some scenes.
The pro abortion scenes were a bit preachy - the flashback episode 8 where she's in bed and says " at least I had a choice".

Bobby Dean was terrificly sleazy
Tuck - very likable Bob Seger fan
The daughter seemed smart and provided the show a conscious.
Buddy started as creepy but loved every scene he was is. Reminded me of Pauly from Rocky - was that him?

we loved this show. Had a feel of Justified meets classic Bateman wit and sarcasm.
I like having an active 1 or 2 dark shows in my current viewing catalog. This one filled the bill.
Hoping for more seasons.

NOT as great as Breaking Bad.
