I watched American Psycho the other day and got a good laugh at seeing the actor who portrays Gavin Belson as the annoying, nerdy banking executive.Zombie Jon Snow said:

Jian Yang was the chinese guy in Patriot's Day. I did not recognize him when I first saw it 2+ years ago. He was such a bit part on SV then I think..... but I was just watching it on cable and I exclaimed "that's jian Yang" when I saw him. lol.
when the Tsarnaev brothers carjack a SUV and kidnap a chinese guy from Cambridge for like 90 minutes it was Jian Yang. Basically the same accent he uses on SV (which is not his normal speaking voice).
He's also Howard Hughes' engineer in The Aviator.
Last two episodes were very enjoyable, hopefully they carry this momentum forwards. I guess the writers realized the audience enjoys a plot that actually moves somewhere. Hopefully this builds to a confrontation with Jin-Yang at the end of the season.
Oh and Jared is easily the best character, I hope they never explain his background.

The different iterations of "The Box" actually kinda mirrors the different shades of white of the business cards in AP.

For whatever reason, Gilfoyle saying Adrian Grenier had one of the "top faces" made me laugh out loud.

I need a supercut of Richard having a "Wait, that's it!" last-minute epiphany just moments before they're truly screwed. That's happened at least five times now, if not more.
Seriously, though, the last three episodes have been hilarious. I was worried after the first couple this season, but it's great to have them back on their A-game for sure.

I loved/was creeped out by Fiona trying to turn her head to see Richard.
Also, it's only the last few episodes that Gilfoyle has started calling Richard "Dick", right? Gets me every time.

My (uneducated) thoughts on why this season has been more enjoyable:
A serialized TV show like this can go two ways, (a) major dramatic conflict story arc that covers the entire season with climax at the final (or sometimes penultimate) episode or (b) individual dramatic conflict story arc over each episode with a loose general theme that covers the entire season.
The last few seasons they tried to do both, and over-dramatized the individual drama for each episode. Constantly "oh no there's no way we survive!" to suddenly "wow we saved the day" for each episode gets tiresome over and over after each episode.
This season, they turned down the drama a bit which still has some conflict in each episode, but the stakes aren't as high. Instead of one step forward-two steps back, it just feels like little speed bumps of drama each episode with the over-arcing plot moving forward. I think its much more entertaining this way, and I hope they keep it up.
