I've also cut back on posting tweets. My sources prefer information be released in short paragraphs, which allow for better context and are more aesthetically appealing.

This is about it. Watched it last night and thought it was terrible. The acting and story-line was pathetic at best!
The scene with the gigantasaurs (or whatever it was named) in the field was cool. The rest of the movie was really bad. I was with about 20 people and not one of us liked it. Out of the 7, I would rank it #6.

There was no character connections...the viewer did not connect with any of them. Well, I guess this one big black lady with a beautiful laugh really enjoyed the boyfriend. She was giggling the whole movie. Anyhow, JW worked because of the connection between Owen and Blue. If you are going to try an 8th movie, there needs to be an emotional connection. Maybe something in the future with the little girl and Deloris but I doubt it. A flick with action is no longer going to cut it in this series.

It's to the point where if he wins the bet he's going to have to use a third party/go-between to get his winnings, because there is no chance I'm sharing any personal info with him whatsoever, or talking to him outside of this site (or on it anymore, for that matter). Dude legit scares me, and is easily the most obsessive poster I've come across, which is saying something.

The D-Rex definitely looks like a dick though.
I dunno if my expectations were low from some of the reviews and this insane thread, or if I was just in a good mood... but I had a blast in this movie.
Of course there's some silly stuff (the raft not popping) and it's a pretty paint by numbers plot - but I enjoyed the hell out of it. I probably liked it more than World... definitely more than the last two. The Mosasaur and Quetzalcoatlus scenes were so fun.

The altoids bit does not surprise me. A lot of of people have an aversion to certain sounds.
Nice. This makes me want to see it again. I mostly enjoyed it for it was, but I saw it on such a small, ****ty, dimly lit screen that I want to give it another shot in all its glory. I had to fly out the next morning, was in the middle of packing, and had to squeeze it in at the theater closest to my place, which isn't my favorite.
