I wrote an eight-page pitch/treatment for my idea a few weeks ago. Not fully fleshed out, but enough to give a basic overview of the conceit, premise, setup, and ending. What finally spurred me putting pen to paper, so to speak, was that one of my business partners is also a manager who reps a writer/director Lucasfilm wants to work with. That writer/director is currently working on a popular TV series, though, and will be pitching a couple ideas to Lucasfilm early next year. So at some point between now and then, when he's done with this season of his show, he's going to read my pitch/treatment and decide if he wants to develop it further/include it in his pitches to Lucasfilm. It's of course a long shot, and I told both my partner and the writer/director no worries if not - it's just an idea I've had that I thought I'd pass along in case it sparks anything - but the writer/director at least sounded excited to read. So we shall see.
