Yeah, but there is no short supply of dumbasses playing this game. Not this season, but typical seasons. You think SOMEBODY would have tried it by now if there was no immediate harsh punishment for it.

I don't think we've really discussed it, but I like the addition of fire tokens this season.

At first I was afraid it would be too gimicky, but it turns out to add just a touch of social capital with people need to borrow from allies.

I think he had two shots. It was clear he was at the bottom of the power group, and could have flipped the script with Jeremy (potentially) to get to the finals, but he wimped out.

He got back into the good graces of Michelle with the disadvantage thing, which worked out better than expected... probably a best case scenario. Disadvantage Ben (who would have won easily and almost won anyway), Michelle against all odds win. Tells Tony that Ben is a beast with fire (plus, has an idol... perfect blindside opportunity), and Tony seemed sincerely concerned. I really thought it was going to be Ben. Nick is a whimpy southern lawyer and he thinks he is bros with east coast Alpha cop.

He could have used Michelle and Jeremy to make something happen. He got a second chance with the gift from God on how the disadvantage played out and taken out Ben to tilt the tables. Instead, he gets sent home packing like the little b**** he is. Not sure why he was so surprised.

Not sure what happens from here. I'm thinking edit is prepping us for a Nat win (Tyson as a hedge), comes in with an idol, so makes it one vote.

Would love Boston Rob to make it in (has an idol to take into the game).

It was pretty easy to call the Michelle immunity win, they telegraphed that pretty loudly. So I really agree with the Natalie foreshadowing with her talking about her time on EoE. She is a shoe in for the jury vote.

If the player who comes back from eoe wins again I will not watch any other season with eoe (okay, I still will because I love survivor too much). This is my fear this season after devins got cheated out of the win a couple of seasons ago... nat comes back and wins after playing the actual game for like two days.

Solid episode and I'm excited for the finale.

- The way they've edited it, Tony is still running everything and should be a runaway winner if he makes the final three.

- I don't think I knew Ben was so tight with Sarah and Tony until last night. Might be on me or maybe poor editing?

- I'm still not a fan of disadvantages or advantages in challenges or tribals.

- Natalie should dominate the EoE battle since she has 3 advantages vs 1 for others. Like Dalton Ross has pointed out, it's crazy that the first eliminated person has such a big advantage for getting back in the game (not that she hasn't worked her butt off).

- I think the coins were a good move for this season and will be interesting to watch going forward.

- I guess they will do the vote reveal by Zoom, but I wonder if they considered going to Georgia or Texas or other locations that are opened up. Could at least fly Jeff and the final three for an in-person reading of the final votes.

So a couple of things.

Remaining:
Tony HII
Sara
Ben HII
Michelle
Denise
(Natalie, Tyson, Rob) HII
(Other)

So if NTR get back in the game, the only ones that can be voted out are Sara, Michelle, and Denise. The other 3 are guaranteed to get to Final 5.

So let's look at the final 5.
NTR: Have been with the jury and everyone likes them. Natalie busted her tail and got the 3 advantages, food, and a HII. Tyson won himself back into the game twice and everyone likes him. Rob is Rob. He has the least likely chance to win of the 3 in my opinion. I don't think he wins.
It would be crazy not to vote out N or T as soon as you can.

Ben: Ben seems to have been riding the coattails of Tony and Sara. I don't know if he has done enough, and there are many who really don't like him.

Michelle: She won a III and gave Jeremy her 50/50. She's not going to win. Everyone likes her, but she's just a goat they're bringing along. And i think the editing made it look like Michelle, but I think it was Nick the whole time. They fear him more.

Denise: Denise has won 2 III and took out the queen with a ballsy move. Everyone likes her and they enjoy her at camp. She can beat Ben and Michelle. Maybe Sara. Maybe NT.

Sara: Has held Tony in check and has stayed loyal to Tony. I think she can beat Ben and Michelle. Maybe Denise. Wont beat NT.

Tony: Will beat everyone with the exception of Natalie. Should he win at this point, absolutely. Now, everyone knows this. Can survive with everyone knowing that?

If I'm Tony, It doesn't matter but taking Ben and Sara is the survivor move, he was loyal to them the whole time.
If I'm Sara, I want Ben and Michelle. She has to turn on Tony.
If I'm Ben, I want Michelle and Sara.
If I'm Denise, I want Michelle and Ben/Sara.
If I'm NTR, I want Michelle and Ben.
If I'm other, I'm out my first vote back at camp that I don't have III.

My favorite understated moment last night was when Natalie got the box and nobody bothered telling Wendell he no longer had to climb to the top of the mountain. Wish they would have shown him racing around up there with nothing to find.

Admittedly, I was pulling for Jeremy. Since he's gone, I hope that Ben knocks out either Sara or Tony by making fire.

Not sure who I want to win, but Tony or Sara have definitely made the case to win. It's really stupid that Nick didn't take advantage of a chance to chip into their numbers by eliminating Ben.

I doubt Ben gets enough jury votes to win.

I think last night was when Ben realized that nobody out there likes him and he's being used as a number to go against in the final. That sucks, but he's played a mean-spirited game, or at least it's been edited that way. I have wondered why they keep him around, but it's clear that nobody is planning on voting for him in the final.

I was pulling for Jeremy as well, and am bummed to see him go - Unless one of my people comes back from EoE, I'm all in on Tony now. The person who gets back from EoE will hoepfully be smart enough to offer their vote to Michelle/Denise/Ben to break up Cops-R-Us. You've let an alliance of 2 make the final 5/6. That's on par with letting Rob and AM-BUH make it that far.

I went on Wiki - the previous EoE challenge to get back in the game at this point featured every player attached to a rope having to get through a series of obstacles then using that tilting table maze to place two balls in the holes. If it's that again, I definitely like Rob's chances. I sort of think they're sandbagging us with the EoE coverage and someone else besides NTR will win and get back in. Going to be a long week!

Natalie and Tyson could beat everyone with maybe the exception of Tony. I think it's 50/50 on Tony. Do they deserve it? IMO, no. But I haven't been hanging out with them on EoE doing nothing other than a few challenges for the last month.

Just wanted to bump this up for the season finale tomorrow night. This season has been a blast, particularly as a distraction from social distancing and I really have enjoyed hanging out with you guys talking Survivor week to week.

Since I can never watch it until late in the evening, tomorrow I'm going to update the scoring after each tribal council and then post them all so everyone can see how the final totals shaped out, otherwise it'll just be a big cram of points added to your total at the end. The quasi-play by play seems a lot more fun to me.

Natalie getting back in could be a solid matchup against Tony.

My initial guess at the winner was Sarah. However, I don't think she has done enough to win. In fact, she will be taken into the final 3 because she is beatable. Tyson could also win but I don't see him making the final 3, if he is able to get back in the game. Natalie could get overlooked by the others, not knowing that she is so liked on EoE.

What makes this season so interesting is that the jury has been on EoE since day 1. Some of these cats only have relationships with the evicted. I do, however, believe it could be pretty crappy to award the winner to someone who has been voted out. For example, I would be ticked if I were Tony to lose to Natalie since I never was voted out and Nat was voted out 39 days previous.

The 3 hr finale was supposed to include a 1 hr reunion, that will now be shortened. I think they pulled the Edge competition, or at least buildup to it, from last weeks episode to put in the finale to make up time, then added that random recap to last weeks episode to fill that time.

Odd filler when for most episodes this season, seemed they were cutting strategizing and most eps easily could have been stretched to 90 mins.

Should win: Tony - he's completely dominated this season from what we've seen. No on else is close in my opinion.

Will win: I'll say Sarah. She was in some good alliances with Sophie and Tony, and I think she is smart enough to vote out Tony and whoever comes back from EoE.

The only person who should be able to beat Tony right now is Denise for her power play on Sandra, staying on the right side of the numbers and winning a couple of immunities. Sarah's case is she was part of Cops R Us with Tony, except that when Tony went rogue she was left in the dark, but went back to him anyways. Michelle gets hotter as the game goes on, but that's about it. Nobody likes Ben, which makes it tough to get any votes, no matter how you played. His inability to even talk to people at times because of his a-hole tendencies is like a flashing red light thats says DO NOT VOTE FOR ME at the end.

Even though it would get me more points, I don't want anyone from EoE to win, as much as I like Rob and Jeremy and dream of Parvati, none of them deserve to win. To me it's like one running back rushes 30 times for 180 yards in the Super Bowl, then the full back scores on a 3-yard run and he wins the MVP. While life is tough on EoE and you have to work your ass off for the fire tokens, the fact of the matter is you could just sit there doing nothing for 30 days (like Amber) and fluke your way into the game. Granted you would hvae zero respect from the other EoE members, but you could literally do almost nothing and make the Final 5/6. That is not good for Survivor.
