Im guessing the madness at Tribal happens because they dont really start gaming until right before they leave..

The jury notices what Tony is doing...at least Boston Rob did when he said 'Tony is the boss'.

Without the closed captions, the whispering would be stupid... but since they tell us what was said, it makes it more enjoyable... especially capturing 'why are we whispering?'.

They're all too paranoid to trust what is said at camp. Jeff should tell them - you can still talk at tribal, but in voices we can all hear. Isn't Nick a lawyer? That guy is the worst liar/bumbling speaker of all time. If you're in need of a lawyer and watching this show, you're like - jesus, don't assign me this idiot.

Standings with Players Left on the main island

Southlake 90 - Ben & Denise
Bobcat06 86 - Tony & Sarah
gravy97 74 - Sarah & Ben
TonyFranklin 73 - Michelle, Sarah, Ben, & Nick
LHIOB 71 - Sarah & Ben
tx1c 66 - Sarah, Ben, & Nick
txaggiefarmer05 58 - Michelle
Bulldog73 54 - Sarah & Denise
Muckraker96 53 - Jeremy
Quinn 52 - Sarah & Ben
Tallgrant 44 - Sarah & Ben
TriumphForks 42 - Nick

Assuming they remember someone else is supposed to come back from EoE, that will probably be pretty significant in the pick'em game, unless it's Natalie. Next year we'll definitely need to do the picks pre-season.

I think you missed the Ben's idol points on all that had him.

Totally agree with Nick, Tony pinned him down like a cat playing with a half dead mouse.

You're right, Tony, thanks! I watched the show at 2 AM, wasn't exactly flying high. I'll update them on the spreadsheet.

What does the Kass twitter blast (did not see it) and the Tony arm bent thing mean?

Is the assumption that production wants Tony to win and gave him slack on the arm thing?

Is that actually an advantage (I honestly have no idea, but went back and looked, and everyone elses arms had to be straight up, but Tony's could chill at half mast).

I think it's advantage, but I would call that out if I was another player who thought producers were favoring someone else.

I think it's more likely that they were strapped in flat footed, arm extended, and that Tony was on his toes at this point.

Actually, nevermind. He's completely flatfooted.

But I just rewatched the challenge. There are other contestants who wind up with bent elbows at points. There's enough slack on the chain and room on the beam to reposition yourself to some degree.

Watch it be Natalie that gets back in the game.

She doesn't vote anyone out until the end and has been hanging out with most of the jury.

She wins.

It's dumb.

Y'all think a cast of winners will vote some from EoE to win? I figured they'd be the last to do so. I guess those on EoE could say they really went thru something together.

Revised standings to include +3 for Ben finding HII

Southlake 93 - Ben & Denise
Bobcat06 86 - Tony & Sarah
gravy97 77- Sarah & Ben
TonyFranklin 76 - Michelle, Sarah, Ben, & Nick
LHIOB 74 - Sarah & Ben
tx1c 69 - Sarah, Ben, & Nick
txaggiefarmer05 58 - Michelle
Bulldog73 54 - Sarah & Denise
Quinn 55 - Sarah & Ben
Muckraker96 53 - Jeremy
Tallgrant 47 - Sarah & Ben
TriumphForks 42 - Nick
Agsquirrel97 29 - Sarah

Regardless of who makes it back from EoE, this jury should vote for the best player because it's about the integrity of the game they all played.

On the EoE challenge, did Amber even try? Why is she such a non-entity on this season? Also kudos to the producers for continuing lots of shots of Parvati bending, stretching, and running. And Adam shouldn't have even tried that challenge. I can't believe he didn't get hurt.

Absolutely. If they didn't think someone from EoE should win it, they'd go to Ponderosa.

If Nat comes back from EoE and survives until final tribal and makes a case to win she should win. She played the game within the rules and she was chosen by her fellow competitors.

I had no issue with Chris winning his season. Its the way the game was the designed - hate the game not the player...
Saint Pablo
How long do you want to ignore this user?
If her and Tony made it to the end, I don't see how Nat would win over him. Someone from EoE definitely could win, but I feel like they have to do something once they come back to make their case. Unless they had played a really great game before being eliminated and already had a bit of a resume...Natalie being on EoE since the first tribal essentially has no resume imo.

Which is why I loathe edge of extinction.

I hope whoever gets back in is the first to go. Unless they have immunity. Then they win.

I'm hoping whoever wins it is a recent extinction person.

I know I'm in last but damn, I don't even warrant a line item in the update.

You want to know what I think of that?

inaudible whispering

That's what I think of that!

So, when Rob fell down, he said he cracked his elbow and was pretty much out of it.

Did anyone else think he actually broke his elbow and was going to medically leave the game?

And, yes, Tony is running the game cause he's out hustling and working everybody and out Immunity Challenging everybody but now it's obvious so he's in jeopardy.

Also, just to nit pick, Jeff said that players could eat peanut butter until the Challenge ended so the snacks really should have been taken away immediately. Just sayin...

I thought the same thing abuot the challenge and the food, I was hoping he'd stop them from eating immediately.

Yep. The second to last contestant shouldn't have been able to take a single bite. The end was so fast that probably the last 3 or 4 should barely have eaten anything.

Also, just wondering when they have a painful Immunity Challenge like this and a Jeff is narrating away, if a contestant just wants to say: "Jeff, STFU!!"

And, I've wondered at times when Jeff's commentary actually sways the game?

For example: "Ben is close to finishing but now Sarah is now very close!!" Could be warning and helping Ben.

And, my wife swears that some of Jeff's questions and comments at Tribal Council can really hurt or help a player:

"So, Ben, when you felt Kim was in an alliance with Tony, did that make you question your allegiance to her"?

"At this point of the game, how important is it to have an Immunity Idol." (Everybody glances at the II holder)

I do like Jeff and think he's done an amazing job.

Also (I'm rambling here), Funny that Ben asked for peanut butter to quit the challenge, was denied, goofed the challenge, then the peanut butter came out. Too bad for Ben but that whole sequence seem a bit contrived. It would have been even funnier if Nick quit for a token and a chance to get peanut butter but as soon as he stepped off the challenge was over and he got no peanut butter. I so wanted to see the look on his face if that happened!

I think I read once from Dalton Ross that tribal is hours long and you're seeing a very small snippet of it edited together. So Jeff might be aksing multiple versions of that question to everyone. I'm sure there's something witten about if you come at Probst even verbally you're done. He's the master of saying things you shouldn't say on TV every time there's a challenge with balls or a long pole. "Tyson, having some trouble keeping control of his pole!" and "Now Ben is really feeling the weight of those balls."

Straight arm you bend it slightly the water spills. Bent arm you have the ability to straighten your arm and the water doesn't spill until you bend it more than originally bent.

Ben's arm was bent as much as Tony's at times.

If Tony did something when they set it up, good for him. Definitely part of game play.

If producers did it, shame on them.

I always wonder why you don't see contestants yell suddenly to scare other contestants to mess up. Like especially right after you lost and you want to help your alliance-mate. There must be harsh rules against that.
