I agree that EoE is more interesting than the main game, but that's probably because it has by far the best cast of characters.

I feel like they had the right idea to take out the "small" targets they just didnt execute. Wendell took a hit for me this year. He wasnt near as much fun this time around.
On RHPA Rob and Stephen talked about how players that play as duos have a hard time their second go of it. JT being the best example.

Either Wendell got a great edit the first time or fame went to his head, which is certainly understandable if you're hanging out with a bunch of other $1 million winners and banging at least one of them after previously being just a reclusive guy making furniture.
Did Jeremy vote for Adam and get left out of the vote? I didn't watch the end credits. It was a great move strategically, because Nick and Michelle look pretty clueless without Wendell holding their hand.
Never been a big Tyson guy, but his candor before the EoE challenge, his raw emotion in celebration, and the fact that he was able to keep himself from being a target FOR EVEN ONE SECOND after the merge was amazing. I don't like that there is still another chance for someone else to get back in the game. This should have been it.
And jeez, how about Tony with some erudite comments at Tribal? I thought he'd be one of the first people out overall given his personality, but he's really low-key playing and I think the others have sort of taken him for granted as a dolt to their discredit.

I'm surprised that they didn't turn around and immediately vote out Tyson. Seems like a mistake to me, but what do I know?
We all talk about whether or not Sanda should actually be the "Queen", but you could tell how big of a player she was when all the players saw Denise knocking her out as a humongous move.

I think we sometimes forget they don't show all the conversations for suspense. I'm sure Jeremy agreed to vote Wendell to keep the peace with the alliance. He made his case, it didn't work, so he changed it. If we see all the conversations there's no suspense at tribal.
I realize I'm extra invested in Jeremy because i'm the only one who picked him in the contest, but he's really come a long way considering the first vote of the whole game was just a coin flip between wiping him out or wiping Natalie out.
I hate this whole get back into the game BS.

I'm on the fence about EoE. I don't like having a chance to get back in the game so late after having lived with the jury without having to vote anyone out.... but... i do enjoy still seeing those who have been voted out.
And man... not sure if it was super creative editing... but I couldn't believe how close Tyson and Rob were to either one winning the challenge.

But your point is probably the idol doesn't do much good if you don't get off extinction.
I wonder how they are going to reveal the winner this season since they likely won't be able to have a reunion. When is the last time they read the votes on the island? I'm assuming they weren't prescient to do that (though I prefer to see it that way - I always think reading the votes in studio when everyone is dressed up and in makeup is disorienting).
They can't read it at tribal. Already filmed. I'm sure there will all be video.

Anyone still think she's the best Survivor player ever? I don't think you can wear that crown after quitting.
So name your GOAT. Easy enough to take shots without naming who you think is the best player ever.
There are tons of players more popular than sandra, but in a format where the only thing that matters is eliminating everyone else and then somehow convincing them all to vote for you to earn $1 million, sandra has 2 wins and nobody else has more than 1. That said, whomever wins this season will be elevated above sandra to the new all time best because their 2nd win will come against the greatest collection of competition the show has ever seen.
