Ellie detour to scar island was dumb and unnecessary.

Why TF did they make her so dumb in the show? Ellie in the game was fueled by blinding rage and hate in the game, but she was also very capable and logical.

There are zero redeeming qualities about Ellie in the show. She's dumb (even other characters call it out), illogical, impulsive, and just a straight up *******. Why did they write her this way?

Yeah, they really did a good job of making her an incredibly dislikeable character.

She's definitely just as selfish in the game, they're both hell bent on revenge regardless of the consequences. She's way more physically and mentally capable of carrying out her plan though in the game, which is the gripe of many people myself included. She feels like a worse decision to play older Ellie with each episode that passes. This show somehow figured out a way to do the unthinkable, I'm rooting for Abby over Ellie, because Bella Ramsey is just terrible for this season of the show. That last scene of the episode when Abby shows up just demonstrates how much better an actress Devers is than Ramsey. I hated Abby in the game but somehow this show made me like her more than Ellie even after she beat Joel to death.

FWIW you should really play the second game, it's actually a better game than the first one.

I haven't seen the Abby portion of the game and I am already rooting for Abby over Ellie

I almost fell asleep this last episode. Really wish they'd feature the clickers and bloaters more to resemble the constant fear you have playing the game.

Stopped watching a few weeks ago because of the lack of zombies…the whole point of the show.

It became the walking dead with way less likable characters and that the zombies are just background noise

I'm just putting this here because it gives me more joy than the second season of the show did. I can't look at this and not giggle.

Ellie is super unlikeable. When the star is unlikeable, the show has a major problem

2nd season is trash. Watched until episode 4 and turned it off when Ellie was playing guitar and singing.

At least I gave it a chance. Way more than it deserved.
