A bright spot in the pandemic! Disney has just changed its plans to release a filmed version of the Lin-Manuel Miranda Broadway musical Hamilton. It now will be released July 3 on Disney+, accelerating an original October 15, 2021, theatrical release, followed by a Disney+ berth.
Disney Executive Chairman Robert Iger andcreator and original star Lin-Manuel Miranda just announced on Good Morning America that Hamilton will brighten up the July 4 weekend with the seminal hip-hop American history tale.

Burn

Funny story about Burn. When we watched it in Chicago last summer, I had to take my 6 year old son to the bathroom during Burn. We were second row, second level. The steps are hollow wood, and I swear the entire theater could hear his footsteps, which seemed to last forever. All of this during the most emotionally charged song of the entire show. I didn't notice any dirty looks, but I'm sure there were a few.

But it's hard to pick just 3. Quiet Uptown and One Last Time were my favorite live ... but the guy I saw play Hamilton was a much stronger singer than Lin Manuel Miranda

I'm one of the very few who was offered a free ticket to this show (original cast) and said "ehhh" turned to my office mate in West Point and said "you take it".

She enjoyed it so all is well that ends well!
