The flight in space is legit. She stuck her self with something but I can't remember what. They go into more detail in the book
They showed it in a previous episode this season when they rescued Monica from the shipping container. I think they said it was hyperoxygenated blood or something like that.
Correct. I think the general idea is 15 seconds in a vacuum without oxygen before passing out, so the hyperoxygenated blood would buy her a little bit of extra time. It's also not like she was having to spin and search out for the airlock for the other ship. The two had been connected recently by that walk way, so it was a straight shot for her from one airlock to the next.

Is it a bit of a stretch? Sure. But it's not impossible, and I sincerely doubt they'll have Naomi back up to 100% normal at the beginning of the next episode. She'll be in bad shape.

Okay, I can buy that I guess. But what about the temperature change? She would've froze to death. That whole scene was just dumb.

I think you'll find how much it ****ed her up in the coming episodes. Not unlike how they still show Holden taking his anti-cancer meds from his radiation dose. She isn't just going to walk away from exposure like that.

The scene reminded of event horizon when baby bear spaced himself. He survived but was in horrible shape. That movie reminds me a lot of The Expanse, only more philosophical.

Definitely showed that today. The amount of time Naomi got in this episode was great. I was wondering how the writers would handle her attempt to alert the Razorback to her predicament as in the books it would be very expensive to follow that path.

I usually get the notification that it's available on Tuesday night sometime, but don't end up watching until Wednesdays.

Good episode, little slow, lot to cover in the next two weeks.

Cool ending with the transition into the credits and bravo for Naomi's actor(dominique tipper), I thought that was well acted. I spent that second half of the episode wondering what she was doing.

Slow but intense episode. The fight and desperation of Naomi was impressive. Interesting all the plot lines they are setting up again, and the collision course of all the disparate ships.

And I'm impressed at the visual similarity of Philip to Marco and Naomi. They did a great job of casting.

You feel bad for Philip because he's been abused so bad by his dad, and his mom just wanted to save him. And you feel the complex guilt Naomi carries.

Sweet episode. Excited to see how they tie it all together. Got ourselves a futuristic version of the Middle East conflicts we've been locked in for the past 50 years.

It looks like they've been following Nemesis Games pretty closely though but it still seems they've skipped that arc so far. But I think they'll try to tie up the book in the last couple of episodes so maybe it'll be included then.

I yelled at Amos you are using a shotgun, they are too far away! I guess they'll wrap everything up next week as it is only a ten episode season.

I read an article that Cas Anvar is not returning in season 6. I think this is why they brought in Bull when his character was originally combined with Drummer and in the books has been dead for awhile. I bet he will be the new Alex.

I just finished reading Persepolis Rising. I can see why there will be only 6 seasons. They can wrap up this arc and then in several years have another three season arc once the characters have reached the ages they are in books 7-9.

Yeah I was thinking that about the shotgun, too, but doesn't have to be buckshot and could be slugs right? Regardless, at that point you do what you can.

Also agree on Bull. I hope they keep him, I like what the character and actor have brought so far.

Not gonna lie, gonna miss Cas Anvar playing Alex.

Can someone refresh me on why he is leaving? Thought it had to do something with send dic pics?

Thanks. If he did that stuff, he is done in his industry - as he should be. That's about as predatory behavior as you can get. Shame he just didn't move onto someone else that would be interested in him.

I was thinking that Peaches would take Alex's place - she did pilot that ship to Luna. They could come up with a backstory that she raced ships like her sister.

Also, like the way they wrote Alex (Cas Anvar) out of the show and how Amos brought Peaches onboard. Typical Amos.

Not going to spoiler tag because I'm on my phone, so don't read if you haven't watched yet. Just go watch it now and enjoy.

Great finale. Everything I wanted to see to set the stage going into the final season.

The Naomi rescue was fantastic, the shot of her spinning away, alone in space... Kubrick-esque in my opinion. Glad they integrated the Belter hand signs too. Knew Alex probably wasn't going to make it through this episode, and I have to admit something about the way Bobby said, "Sorry Alex." When they got off the call with the Roci... I don't know. Felt real, like it was a goodbye. Not that I don't understand why he had to be written off or whatever. But still. Maybe reading too much into it.

That space battle was awesome. Sad to see Drummer and Pa splitting up though. Was looking for forward to them pirate queening it up next season together.

Loved Amos in that last sequence. The logic he walked Holden through and then, "Come on up Peaches." Like a little kid.

That last bit though... that's what I was waiting for. The Barkeith going Dutchman and Cortazar... leaves no doubt we're getting the Laconia story line in some way. Final season then maybe a movie or two in order to close out the last 3 books?

If I recall it will end with Babylon's ashes and not the remaining books before the jump

Gottamn what a finale. The space battle with the Roci was so well done, felt so real and so tense. They have a way of portraying exhilarating action that's taking place kilometers away.

And the Naomi rescue was done so so well. I had my headphones on, so when Bobbi all of a sudden talks to her through the vibrations of the suits came through so honestly. Hearing her muffled voice through only my left headphone made me lose myself in that scene for a moment.

I love the way that they provided time to cope with the finale before throwing us for a ride with the epilogue.

Edit. Can't get spoiler redaction to work. Don't read if you have not seen the episode.

Great episode and season. Agree with a lot of the comments on the rescue and peaches joining up at the end. I suspected they were going to have to write off Alex... I think they did it in a good way. My only complaint is how awesome the final scene was and the wait we are going to have to endure for Season 6 to arrive. Who ever writes those cliffhangers is a mother f...er!!

Right. But Book Spoilers: it just feels like next season could be done without any reference to Laconia at all. You could obviously do the Strange Dogs storyline and have them send a few ships through like we see in Babylon's Ashes and all that, but it just feels weird to bring it in if you don't have some hope for adapting the final 3 books. Even if it's just condensed to one movie or something. I don't know, maybe just wishful thinking.
