Yea it seems like the challengers strategy is different this season from last season. Last season the winners would throw themselves in against a rookie or weaker competitor. This season they are just trying to get the strong competitors out first. Weird strategy since it appears there are fewer skulls available this season compared to last season.

Yup, when I saw the set-up, I assumed Jay would win easily. He still did great, but it wasn't nearly fast enough.
Leroy might be sitting pretty right now for the final, which is awesome. Having watched old seasons, he really has had some spectacular performances. He had a similar elimination in Battle of the Exes 2 that he demolished. I hope MTV releases the unedited version of this challenge.

Leroy was ridiculous in that elimination. Never seen anything quite like it. Just pure focus and domination. The cinematography and music was awesome in the elimination too. Made it feel like it was a movie or something. Unfortunately Kam's annoying screeches has to ruin everything lol!

It's going to get more difficult for me to watch/LISTEN to 'Killa Kam', now that her and Leroy have their skulls. Devin disappointed me with his behavior, triggering Fessy like that. I thought it was funny when Theresa called CT out @ deliberation. Seems like they're giving the women a pretty big pass on elimination challenges so far. That should change soon. Really enjoying this season!
What will happen if/when someone with a gold skull is sent back in to elimination? Can they lose a skull? The way TJ has been surprising everyone, I guess it's possible.

Didn't this happen last season? Jay won his skull and they kept sending him back into elimination.

Yes and I think this season most of the guys left would rather try to "take" Devin's skull than go against CT/Darrell/Corey/etc.

I am not a huge Kam fan but she dominates. Watching her just waltz past Gabby with the relic was not unexpected
I felt bad for CT and Big T knowing that she can't win over Kam but she did try. As a smaller girl myself I know it's gotta be hard to try and go against a dominating girl much larger than yourself.

I liked that the elimination was similar but a slightly different iteration of what they've already done. It keeps them from being predictable and giving someone an edge.

I'm sure both CT and Darrell want to volunteer, but they also are tied to partners that don't exactly want to dive in to an elimination blindly. Even if they did volunteer, it appears the majority of the house is united in that they dont want past champs in the final. If you have a gold skull, why would you want to make the final harder by giving CT or Darrel a chance to earn a spot to compete and win the money over you. If a skull winner is a daily winner in a few weeks, I could see them wanting to pit CT vs Darrell in an elimination with no skull up for grabs (assumining its not a girls day back to back weeks)Quinn said:

The seasons only half over. Theres still time to get the skull. I wouldn't be surprised if they even had a double Elim or two ahead for the guys and girls, and maybe even a boy/girl team day.
Gameplay will matter more now, which should help vets and hurt dummies regardless of current skull status.

All of TJ's "it's an important day for..." teasing is absolutely leading to a full team elimination or at least 2 single elims for the girls and guys that are voted in/chosen by the DA's
Next one "has" to be girls since there is a female free agent currently.

I know they have partners, but it seems like they could convince them that it was the right move. I dunno, seems like they could have convinced the house to vote them in, as afraid as everyone still is of going in. The gameplay this season has been pretty weak, IMO. The winner of the daily has had a lot of input on the house vote for some reason, too.
I think Darell likes being tied to a large alliance (Big Brother) that he also isn't necessarily associated with. CT cares less about alliances and house given how long he has played and he knows nobody will vote him in and risk having to go against him right now.
He also has a genuine heart (at least it has seemed through the years) so he struggles with sabatoging Big T. And next week now makes no sense for him to make a play against his partner and ask to be voted in because if big T goes home his partner will be Amber.

If I were her, I'd be ditching Wes over him 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. I imagine at some point (maybe even as soon as next episode), whenever Fessy doesn't win a challenge, that he will get snatched up pretty quickly.
I liked Fessi his first season, but he seems a little too cocky this year. I think he still has to prove himself.
