According to TV Series Finale who gets their stats directly from Nielsen, Sunday's episode saw the biggest drop off in viewership this season.

The key demos fell 29.29% to 0.70, the lowest demo rating of the entire season.

Likewise the viewership dropped 20.60% losing 847,000 from last week's episode with 3.265 million viewers.

It was the lowest ranked episode this season

With the NFL back this week i feel the numbers for Thursday and Sunday will drop further as I would bet a good number of viewers are just using this show as a fill in til something better comes along. Interesting to see rating numbers between:
Cowboys vs Buccaneers TNF
Bears vs Rams SNF
and BB.

I was excited at the beginning of the season because this cast seemed interesting.

But they weren't.

This season quickly fell into the same rut the last few have: one major alliance; everyone votes together so they don't make waves; the same person goes otb week after week because they've already been up once, may as well just keep it going.

It's boring as hell. I haven't watched an episode in a few weeks.

So I started thinking: what would revive the game?

For starters, I think implementing a rule that prevents someone from being on the block two weeks in a row would make things a little more interesting.

Maybe two teams, instead of four? The four teams and the safety at the beginning of this season really limited possibilities to nominate.

What do y'all think?

Wait what?

The simple fact that the joker rankings have Travis at #3 means it can't be taken seriously. I don't think anyone in this cast is racist nor is the Cookout a racist alliance just like I don't think The Brigade or any other guys alliance is a sexist alliance. They all decided to aligned at the beginning and are sticking to it because they wanted to see a black winner. (Personally Danielle Reyes should have been the first black winner if they had a jury house in that season which is why they now have a jury house for every season following.)

Now their plan has changed as the season went on because in my opinion some of them needed that alliance more than others so it went from sticking together until jury to sticking together until the six. It seems like Tiffany is the one who has struggled with it the most which is why she has made some questionable game moves because she clearly wanted to do whatever she could to keep Clare safe for as long as she could similar to how Lane wanted to keep Britney for as long as he could in season 12. I think only Derek F and Azah are the ones that need that alliance the most. The rest of them are basically waiting for someone to give them a reason to turn on the alliance so they can in turn do the same thing because just like if any of the non Cookout members may fear the backlash from the outside, the Cookout members are also thinking about the same thing so no one wants to be the first to turn on the alliance.

All that being said, I haven't watched it as much because college football is back and NFL starts this week so I can always catch up on what is happening in BB on Twitter if i miss anything worth watching.

I would have also. Might have actually been really entertaining. Keep all they have and then add in some of the old school cast types and let the cards fall where they may.

But by being upfront about it, it would be viewed as "trying to hard" to appease. (not that what they are doing isn't exactly that).
This may be my last season of this and will probably not watch survivor because I feel like it will be done the same way.

but really, what racism has there really been in the past in terms of actually voting someone out or nominating them due to race? I'm sure there have been some but also has been lots where people subconsciously don't put a POC on the block because they don't want anyone to think that could be the reason.

Agree with this. Also, I think they know that none of the white house guests this year will likely suggest that its racist because they know they'd get cancelled.
