Getting pretty tired of Deb's appearances. The writers are kind of boxed in, since she's the anti-Harry (i.e. NOT helping Dexter kill/adhere to the code) but they've basically reduced her to berating him every time she appears. It's annoying as hell. She'll quickly surpass Skylar White as most annoying female co-star on a show, EVER.

Didn't think they'd bring Dexter being exposed so quickly. Is this only a 1 season thing? If not I woulda guessed they'd wait at least til next season to expose him. There's plenty other things going on to carry the show.
This is probably an unpopular opinion but I like the Deb appearances. I think she is supposed to be annoying and intrusive. She's the voice in Dexter's head pleading with him not to go back to his old self, and a reminder of the guilt he has for indirectly causing her and Rita's deaths. She's like the angel over his shoulder yelling in his ear competing with the devil hovering over the other shoulder.DannyDuberstein said:

I get that ... but her approach is a profane monotone that obviously isn't moving Dexter -- or helpful. Yeah, that seems unlikely to me. Seems like one of the prevailing plots is Dexter (through Deb) not wanting Harrison to be the monster he is. I could see an ending where Harrison is in too deep and Dexter helps him relocate off the grid (like he did), knowing he could never see him again.mazzag said:

My guess on series ending. Harrison is killed by dexter. He had a similar situation with kid Harrison age in one of the seasons. He tried to help and then realized he couldn't be helped.
