I vote D.

Given that the title of the show is Dexter:New Blood, I'm going to go with B.

What if Kurt kills Harrison? Does dexter kill him and finally get caught.

I mean, Harrison does fit Dexter's code. If he's killed people before coming to Bedford falls or wherever the hell they are, then that puts him in the baddie category. Perhaps Dexter has to put down the rabid dog. Or Dexter kills Kurt which makes ole Harrison big mad and he kills Dex. Or the two team up in a father son bonding of killing ghost Deb.

Harrison was gonna killl Eskimo Deb's daughter until he realized he was gonna get some nookie. I think Kurt kills Harrison, Dexter kills Kurt, gets caught but then works his way out of it in Dexter fashion

I definitely think Harrison killed Hannah Mckay.

The thought of him intending to kill Angela's daughter was messed up. What the hell did she ever do? (has anyone seen End of the F***ing World? Gave me those vibes)

I highly doubt Dexter kills Harrison or vice versa. Viewers would hate that. I do think Dexter trains him, though.

If this is the only season I can see an ending where Dexter is left for dead after Harrison harms him and the last scene we get is Dexter bloody staring up to the sky.

I think Harrison killing Dex is way more likely than vice versa

Do we know for sure that the lumberjack ending to the original show is before New Blood? That hasn't been explained or touched on but I believe either here or on Reddit the theory has been floated that New Blood actually takes place BEFORE the lumberjack ending to Dexter.

Because wasn't the lumberjack ending in Alaska? Why the hell would he suddenly move to upstate NY? It would make more sense that **** hits the fan in NY just like it did in Miami so he finally escapes to Alaska and the lumberjack ending. If that's true, we know Dexter survives New Blood.

I thought he said at some point (maybe in voiceover) that he was out west and then came back to New York.

Loved the new episode. Things are really starting to heat up between Kurt and Dexter. There are some pretty annoying plot holes/things that didn't make sense with the custody interview and release of Kurt but I can look past it, it's fiction after all.

I'm just curious how they can wrap this all up in just 3 more episodes. Dexter is still (mostly) estranged from Harrison, Angela knows he faked his identity but hasn't dug deeper on it, and we have the annoying podcaster starting to think "hmm, somethings not right here."

John Lithgow cameo was awesome.

I thought Angela would have done some research and put 2 and 2 together about Dexter. He's from Miami so he definitely knew Batista. He supposedly "died" 10 years ago and is connected to a bunch of strange serial killer crimes. He must have changed his identity for a reason. Something is off about him...

Maybe she will do this in the next couple episodes since she's been preoccupied with Iris lately.

I do like Kurt as a villain. He is clearly smarter than past villains Dexter has dealt with. I think killing him will be very difficult since Kurt expects it.

It might be recency bias, but I put Kurt below Trinity on the Dexter villains.

Also, fun fact: the guy who plays Kurt is the voice actor for Mr. Krabs in Spongebob.

Trinity is by far the best. But Kurt seems know Dexter where the others didn't.

This isn't even peak Dexter. This bumbling dad Dexter. Look how many mistakes he's made that he hasn't even thought of. The terrible excuse for saving the podcast lady. The obvious phone recorder. The sloppy kill of Matt. Picking up Kurt after incinerating his son. Allowing Kurt the time needed to trash his kill room. So so so many mistakes. Kurt is just able to operate because lady cop is horrid at her job.

Yeah that's one of my favorite fun facts about Clancy Brown. it's hilarious. Also plays the hardcore prison guard in Shawshank.

Trinity was definitely the most terrifying Dexter villain.

To clarify: I was saying Kurt is below Trinity - meaning the second best villain. Trinity is way better. But Kurt is good classic Dexter.

I was not saying Kurt is better than Trinity. The opposite in fact.

Thought this last episode was great too. Sure there are plot holes and stuff that isn't quite realistic but whatever. Its a fun watch. I think a part of me is just happy this season has already made up for the last couple of seasons of the old show. I'm hoping they've left room in filming for another season after this one.

Michael C Hall pretty much admitted on the view that this season was an attempt at redemption from the horribleness of season 8. He just phrased it differently. And I agree, it's already more than made up for the weak ending to the show. This season isn't perfect by any means but I am thoroughly enjoying it. Clancy Brown is great.

I'm not surprised by showtime doing another season/series of Dexter… but I'm very damn surprised on how well they've done it so far.

Funnest fact about Clancy was that he was Kurgan on Highlander (there can be only one). Man, he was a great villain in that movie and way more charismatic than Christopher Lambert.

BTW he now has over 300 IMDB credits…dude is a work horse. Also, his second credit ever…Dukes of Hazzard in '83.

For you Hollywood pros any chance they filmed alternate endings? One ending that was pretty final if ratings not great? Another ending allowing for another season if ratings were good (which they are)? They could choose which ending to air week of that last episode.

They are jamming way too much into these short episodes (they all seem to start 7 minutes late and end 10 minutes early). Seems so rushed.

Episode was intense. This has been a great season. With how everything is unfolding with New Deb and her amazing detective skills, I can see the season ending with Dexter dead.

I really hope they don't just bring back this season to kill off or arrest Dexter. I don't think that is the ending that fans of this show have wanted, so to bring the excitement of the new season to do that seems harsh.

Could they do a spinoff with Harrison as the new "Dexter"?

Chief figures out Dexter but gets killed. Only question is if it is Clancy Brown or Harrison that takes her out. I'd prefer a complicated scenario where Harrison does it. Dexter tormented. Again

Or.....wildcard, Angel shows up and kills the Chief when she tries to bust Dexter. Angel says "Bich, please. I knew what he was the whole time. But he's still one of the good guys."

I don't think I could watch a series built around him. He really isn't a very good actor.
