Not getting caught also involved pinning the killing on someone else. He probably could have easily gotten out of Matt's murder by putting it on Kurt for framing him. It was pretty indisputable, though, that Dexter was at least involved in Logan's killing by the body being right outside an open jail cell with the prisoner gone. And, once Bautista got there with his evidence, combined with what Angela had figured out, his involvement as the Bay Harbor Butcher was about to be exposed as well.Ol Ironside said:

Yep. When he became willing to kill the "good people" as he referred to them in the beginning of the episode, you knew he had "jumped the shark" in his murderous tendencies.Orlando Ayala Cant Read said:
