And F16 has a large number of highly intelligent, rational posters. It is a conservative echo-chamber? Sure, but that's to be expected on a Texas A&M politics forum.

But unfortunately as a % it without a doubt has the largest number of unhinged and closet racist/misogynist posters. Many people who want someone else to blame for the ills in their life tend to flock to political factions (this is true for both sides).

I'm not saying all usernames without Agtags are fakes...but there are many that are.

And they make over-the-top posts on F16 all the time to get a rise out of people. And they do the same thing on the paid forum about how A&M will never win at anything, Jimbo was a waste, the owners of TA are losers, etc.

Doesn't make it the majority by any stretch. But people see what they want to see to justify their world views.

Go to the SurlyHorns Cloak Room or Daily Texan boards if you want to see a 35mm film negative of F16.

The leftists on the Entertainment board will bash F16 for being what it is but would never say the same thing about two boards that are doing the exact same thing but for the side they align with on most issues.

But it's a sip site where those boards are located. Nobody should be surprised. I look into that site when I'm depressed and want to feel better about myself that "at least I'm not one of these people".
