Well they better get him on board because he has over 15 million followers and the director has less than 5 thousand. One of them can control the fans view of this film and it's not the one most of y'all are backing.

it is a bad question for the entertainment board obviously, but the point was that probably 95% of people who have seen the toy story movies have absolutely no idea who directed them, and the same goes for most animated films i would suspect.

looked up brad bird, pretty crazy resume. I would never in 1000 years have guessed that the dude who directed MI:GP was an animated film director.

Getting pretty hyped for this. I grew up watching the Buzz Lightyear tv show on Disney channel after school, so this is perfect for me as a 90's kid.

Question though, are there any other toy story characters you would want to see a "origin story" (for lack of a better word) for?

I think a Rex movie would be fun. Don't know how I would feel about a movie about Woody and Jessie.

We need the movie about Jessie with Andy's mom, set in the 70's.

Bookend it with flashforwards to her as a divorced, depressed empty nester who finds love, and ends with Andy bringing over the grandchildren, and you've got your makings of a Pixar tearjerker right there.

Don't you remember Rex's origin story? A little known 1993 film called 'Jurassic Park'? At least that's why I assume a kid in 1995 had a toy T-rex.
