love everything with Danny McBride

Eastbound and Down may be the funniest and most non-PC series in the history of television

I really need to watch that, and go back and finish Eastbound and Down. they both came out when my kids were little which made it utterly pointless to try to watch television at all.
VP and Eastbound are actually FUNNIER than Gemstones.

And the frolicking away. Such a great scene.

I said I saw bad things coming for Eli, and here we are.
But Judy asking if Amber flashed her bleached butthole?

I love the way Judy calls her dummy to her face like it's her name. No inflection in her her tone just like she was calling her Tiffany.

Also, gun-toting Amber and dancing Amber are hottness

Stay horny!

Love Judy Gemstone

Haha. I love this show. "You shaving your nuts for some B". And the Tesla doors going crazy had me laughing out loud.

Judy signing those pictures with a big dong.

BJ acting like he was touched by Christ himself.

And did anyone the obnoxious throw pillows on Judy's couch that had pictures of her and BJ printed on them?

Just greatness once again.

The write-up sounds like grown-up Harmon is going to appear in the episode after next.

Haha. So many funny things in past few episodes. Judy signing the photos with the dong as mentioned above and "stay horny". Also when it was BJs baptism, the subtle things like the sign outside the auditorium that said something like " absolutely no children allowed inside"

Maybe the best episode of the season. So many laugh-out-loud moments and one-liners.

Best puke scene since Team America World Police.

Odd, I found that to be the least satisfying episode of the season, although I enjoyed the closing action scene and baby Billy flipping the elixir trailer. Yet another big tease of the cycle ninjas with no resolution of their identity was frustrating. Other than eli waking up, it felt like a 39 minute trailer for the final 2 episodes.

Puke scene was something else haha. BJ's non-gendered going to help as a person scene was funny too. For some reason Tiffany not being able to read made me laugh out loud.

Tiffany being a poor dumb hill person has been great all season. Baby Billy needs more screen time to close the season. Him flipping that trailer was so great.

Baby Billy running off on foot rather than just unhitching the trailer had me guffawing.

I thought the same thing, really enjoyed this week. It had the gross out humor, the one liners, the serious scene with Calvin, the action stuff with the bikes, Baby Billy, just a really good mix.

Anyone catch the foreshadowing of what Jessie said to Gideon about the cattle prod and how to use it?

Yep, he took it right at them and flipped the one off the cycle with it.

Was one of the more direct "answered prayers" episodes as well - Kelvin's praying wakes up Eli and Jessie's praying allows him to shoot a guy

You knew it was going to happen but still lol'd anyway. After the puke opening, I wasn't sure if he'd get poked in the eye with a dick or a close up of a butt hole.

Baby Billy peddling health elixir out of his trailer towed behind a convertible was too perfect.

Are we simply ignoring that Baby Billy spanked BJ??

That whole scene was just pure chaos. Couldn't stop laughing. So much going on. The convertible is one thing, but making it a late-90's or early-2000's BMW Z3 is such specific car casting - literally perfect for the character. I think in the flashback episode, he was driving a Chrysler LeBaron. It's the small details like this that make those show one of the best.

Also, a few others have alluded to - Edi Patterson as Judy has been far and away the MVP of this season.

I just had my mind blown that Pontious is the real-life son of Jesse's dumb friend Chad on the show.

Second, there are spoilers on the show's IMDB page, so avoid, or don't.

The image of BJ with a throwing star stuck in the side of his head will never not be funny!

I'm not so sure I agree 100% with your policework there Lou. Eastbound is great as a series and had a longer run so far. VP had its moments but never found its groove (IMHO). Gemstones may be one of the funniest comedy series ever because of the cast it has; not a clunker in the group. And McBride has smartly given most of the laughs away to others.

Ehh… VP had a groove. It was McBride and Goggins going back and forth for 2 seasons. That's why I feel like the 2 seasons was enough. Without much else that would get stale. At least they didn't draw it out like some other series. I'd still rate Gemstones above VP though just for the cast and their interactions alone.
