Feels like a clean slate for next season.
Not my favorite episode of the season, but I thought the cold open was brilliant and there were many funny moments throughout the ep. All felt a little rushed to me, but in a way it's kind of refreshing to not have some ridiculous cliffhanger at the end of a season. Hopefully Season 3 will give them the opportunity to mine for comedy gold in the resort.
Had a blast watching it despite TC ruining WInning TIme for me 
Eli with the clothesline at the end was fantastic. I was a little frustrated with the cut away and not knowing how BJ survived the gun shot wound. I really thought Judy was going to charge Mrs Osteen even with the gun drawn. I liked Jesse getting past his normal hot-headedness and living to get revenge another day. Really liked that Joel Osteen had his own band of knucklehead assistances just like Jesse, and how about John Amos in the cameo!
One question - and I didn't rewind to see for myself - but I could have sworn Martin was the one following the Osteens in Alaska, but then I saw him in the audience seconds later while they were performing. Was it someone else in Alaska?
Also we busted out laughing when Jesse showed up singing.

The show hadn't been renewed yet when they filmed the season, so I think it was a "just In case".

Yeah...I wasn't expecting a Don Williams tune. Laughed pretty damn hard.
Ok that makes sense. It was closing all the relationship/ character growth storylines that made me think this was a series finale.

Worst episode of the season.
Man, I thought that was a perfect finale to the season. Wrapped everything up nicely, and I laughed multiple times throughout, which is about all I can ask for.

That was the most bat**** insane episode of television I've seen. Even though I knew the twist, it still was way more than I imagines.

a notion out there is that Amber is part of it too.
My wife and I thought Amber might be involved or abetting for these reasons.
1. She's a much better shot (season 1 emphasis) and should have taken down more of the riders.
2. She admitted she can control Jessie to get what she wants.
3. She wants the spotlight and might do anything to get it, which includes having the father in law killed so her husband can shine/be a power couple.
4. Being shot at early on would be a nice throw off the trail twist.
Far fetched, but just enough there as we discuss the show while sleep deprived with newborn #1.

I agree with it being one of worst of the season in a relative sense.
It wrapped up everything perfectly, yes. But for me there was only 1 maybe 2 laugh out loud moments; the rest were chuckles. Meanwhile, the previous 2-3 episodes had me rolling throughout.
Pretty sure that was Martin. The last two scenes--snowmobile ninjas/coffee black---were intertwined but I don't think they meant to imply that they occured simultaneously.helloimustbegoin said:

Tiffany being a toilet baby and then having a toilet baby, but not just a toilet baby, a porta potty blue chemical toilet baby is just next level messed up...and funny.
The entire explanation on how the reporter died was awesome.

I was so hoping for Keef to jump out to the rescue when the Lissons were making the family walk into the water. I thought for sure he or Gideon would save the family.

This was my favorite laugh out loud moment of the episode, and I loved it all the more because it followed the moment where Tiffany is like, "Y'all have been so nice to me and I won't forget it, and it makes me want to do nice things for other people, including my son." Or something to that effect. That's a major (and good) part of religion and then they follow up with that commentary between Judy and BJ. Amazing stuff.DeangeloVickers said:

The other part of their conversation where she said (paraphrased) that even the science guys go to heaven was awesome too.
Really, really loved this season as a whole - finale felt like they lost some air towards the end. They wrapped up everything for us nicely just felt a little rushed.
Glad to see a 3rd season renewal. As yall mentioned before - they have a lot of directions they can go with S3. Gemstones resort? Sign me TF up. PRAISE!

This show continues to bring it. Like others, I liked that Danny McBride let the other phenomenal actors make this show. Thought john Goodman completely stole the season. Edi Patterson would be the second best role for me.
