Just because he's an all-time cast member. That said, Ferrell does have a new golf scripted comedy series on Apple TV this summer - The Hawk - which he's promoting, so the timing makes sense for that more than anything. It's just that "all time cast member" + "all time legendary musician" (who happens to be one of Lorne's good friends) on the same night, for the season finale, is raising some eyebrows.
Ok - they need to get Colin and Che in more skits.

This was the highlight for me this past week
I would've bet my mortgage that they'd do another Domingo sketch when Coleman Domingo was hosting. Maybe they actually wore it out already, but they rarely stop going back to the well on sketches that go so viral.

Couldn't tell you. Never heard of him before, but having now heard 3 of his songs, they all sound the same, so probably doesn't really matter.
Feel like every episode this season has had at least 1-2 great skits.

After I posted, I looked her up on Wikipedia, she has a pretty interesting story. She was into the comedy arc early, trying out at all the typical companies, felt overwhelmed, gave up and got randomly hired as Diane Keaton's assistant and became good friends with her over a decade, then tried again with comedy in her early 30s and made it.

Her delivery in this sketch is an all-timer for me. Just pure comedic genius in one of the best sketches of the year.
