In Jupe's *waiting for the other shoe to drop* he never looks Gordy in the eyes, and is spared from the chimp's carnage, leading to his complicated relationship with the UFO and his trying to complete the proverbial fist-bump. Jupe thought he controlled Gordy at the end, and thought he could control the UFO in the same way.astros4545 said:
In the Gordy scene, How was the tennis shoe balancing on its end

NOPE is Jordan Peele’s Jaws. A chopped, screwed, and depraved homage to the summer blockbuster. There are some stunning anxiety-inducing, white-knuckled suspense pieces that had my heart racing. It will be polarizing as said, but it got me. Keke Palmer is easily MVP. #NopeMovie pic.twitter.com/vLqcQeMkaV

Based on this brilliant review, decided to look up other tweets….another all time best. Stunning that he has 13 followers.beanbean said:
I especially liked the tweet where the person says it surpasses the Exorcist, then goes on to say it's the best films ever!
Jordan Peele movies always look they are going to be awesome from the trailers but then when you actually watch the movie, the whole thing falls apart.

Peele is the new M. Night Shyamalan.

LMAO at the pages and pages of tweets in this thread overhyping this movie and talking about how great it is. Peele is the new M. Night Shyamalan. He's so damn overrated.

beanbean makes a valid point about fake Twitter hype. It's really just more advertising. It reminds me of commercials back in the day where they showed regular people claiming how good a movie after just seeing it…if you ever saw a commercial like that 99% of the time the movie stunk.
Obviously there is a ton of hyperbole in these reviews. Comparisons to Jaws in several tweets? Do they send out talking points to these "reviewers".
Jaws is one of the greatest movies ever made, Nope is Ok, but will be mostly forgotten in a year.
Who needs Nopes ending explained? Who is really pondering the deeper meaning of Nope for days?
