Tears for Fears on Friday night at the Fontainebleau in Vegas, fantastic show! Stage show, lighting, video, and the band were great, and Roland & Curt also sounded fine and their voices were as good as they were 40 years ago.
Then the Eagles at the Sphere on Saturday night. This was a good show as well, though the "band" isn't as lively. I don't guess they ever really were though. Everyone who sang sounded fine - Henley, Timothy Schmit, Deacon Frey, VInce Gill, and Joe Walsh, though Joe seemed to slur his words a bit more than I remembered from the last time I saw him (solo in '91). If you closed your eyes Deacon sounded almost exactly like Glenn. He and Gill split the Glenn Frey songs in general. The videos for the Eagles show were impressive, though I thought the U2 show used the technology better overall.

I think he briefly left in 2022 but still guest with them for most shows, and since 2023 he's been a regular member.

I saw them on their Tipping Point tour a couple of summers ago. They played a lot of new material. Highly recommended.

Flew in for ZZ Top tonight and Turnpike Troubadours on Sat. It is snowing in ABQ New Mexico
ZZ played 80 minutes in front of 1,600 people. $90 floor ticket and we had the only 2 seats on our row 13. There were 3 floor sections. Venue seats 8,000 but stage was in center of floor and back half of arena was empty.

I'm over 50 so must get medical clearance to attend a rock show in the GA section.
Man that's sad. They packed the Woodlands last time I saw them, although some people were there to see Skynyrd.

My brother and I went to see Linkin Park in Dallas last Friday and they put on a really darn good show. Emily Armstrong has a great set of pipes and can really sing. She gets pretty close to Chester's range, although not quite there.
