i am however looking forward to tomorrow and TC's twitter sharing of responses from US folks/critics
I would have been all over that! How did you swing it? I don't pay close attention to special events there, but my wife does.Saxsoon said:
I will actually get to see a screening of Guardians 3 at Disney that later leads to an after hours party at EPCOT for basically unlimited rides of the Guardians ride on May 4th. Super excited.

Pro tip: leave a good cushion time between any food and riding GOTG.

Ok, lol, let me rephrase.
1) are these movies set in the same storyline as endgame?
2) if so, where do you rank them in relation to endgame?
3) are there any major differences in style among them? E.g. x men - some of the movies were pretty good, some bad, but logan was a totally different beast - but imo was by far the best and a very good movie.
4) another for instance, i had caught some of john wick one afternoon and was bored/unimpressed. Enough people here told me enough that i gave it another shot and watched the whole thing and it was pretty good. I'll probably watch the rest. So i am asking here again.
I got to do that, too. Didn't hear about the DVC screening, though.Saxsoon said:ABattJudd said:I would have been all over that! How did you swing it? I don't pay close attention to special events there, but my wife does.Saxsoon said:

Disney Vacation club members. It was how we got to ride it before it officially launched during previews. One of my favorites rides

Yes, very much intertwined with Endgame (Gamora and Nebula were Thanos' "adopted" daughters, for example).cbr said:

sorry, i just figured maybe a bunch of aggies on an entertainment board might want to discuss it, and might find it entertaining to do so?The Porkchop Express said:i mean, dude, just wikipedia it.cbr said:

I would rank both of these in the top 10 of the Infinity saga
Generally, they are more humorous than most of the rest of MCU. Have you seen Peacemaker on HBO? It's from the same writer/director (James Gunn), which should give you some sense of the style of humor.
Songs are great if you're a fan of 60s/70s music.
Yep. Add captain marvel, then endgame at the end of this list.Decay said:
You don't know about the MCU?
Just buy a Disney+ subscription, watch Iron Man 1, and then go in movie release order and check back with us in a few weeks

It's just hard to believe you hadn't watched anything and then started with endgame.
go get you a Disney + subscription and start in release date order of all movies and shows…it'll take you about a year…cbr said:I just heard people saying it was great….i see i made an error. The Porkchop Express said:cbr said:sorry, i just figured maybe a bunch of aggies on an entertainment board might want to discuss it, and might find it entertaining to do so?The Porkchop Express said:i mean, dude, just wikipedia it.cbr said:

Now I'm imagining cbr dialing up Return of the King on TNT one day like "Hmmm, never heard of this one. Let me give it a go!"Brian Earl Spilner said:
Anyone know anything about Star Wars? I watched The Rise of Skywalker and wasn't impressed. Worth checking anything else out?
Also, does Mandalorian have anything to do with it?

Guardians Vol. 3 is a lot to process, but it honestly had me bawling at times, and it's a great send-off to the cast and Gunn himself.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 3, James Gunn bets the house on a, surprisingly, emotional story centered on Rocket and the love and friendship between these characters. Bets and wins. It’s pretty incredible (animal lovers, there are a couple tough scenes) #GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3

Anyway, I wasn’t expecting to get sad during this as much as I did.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 is full of stakes, emotion & feels like a solid ending (good thing!). The production design & set pieces are some of Marvel’s strongest. It’s long, but the theme of found family is & will always be it’s strength. I’ll miss these misfits 💙 #GotGVol3 pic.twitter.com/inK2g6rfAi
