Having said that, there are some hilarious gags throughout #GotGVol3, and there are a couple emotional moments that work. But the film's overarching messaged feels muddled by the scale of the movie and how everything unfolds. It's not downright awful, but it feels rather messy.

Seems like one of those movies where most people will be willing to accept/overlook the flaws and enjoy it, some will ignore the flaws as if they don't exist and love it unconditionally, and some will hate it for its flaws.

#GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3 IMAX - subpar script takes away from a normally fun franchise, though #DaveBautista delivers laughs without fail. VFX & stunts good, but not memorable. Nice to get one more ride with this #Marvel team despite story that drags. Mostly for #MCU faithful.

Just reading this thread. This has GOT to be a troll or joke, right? I mean, it's the MCU, like the most celebrated all time franchise besides Star Wars. 22 movies, From Iron Man to End Game and it's been talked about a lot. Granted, I get if you haven't seen all 22 movies or if it's just not your thing and yes, there are a lot of Marvel movie franchises that are (were now-multiverse fixed that) separate so it can become confusing, but I have yet to meet anyone that thought EG was just a stand alone movie. It's usually people not into it who ask if the X-Men, Spidey (with Toby or Garfield which, lol, now they are!) or even if DC is part of these, but interesting to find someone who didn't know about the MCU.cbr said:thanks! i have not seen it. Generally, they are more humorous than most of the rest of MCU. Have you seen Peacemaker on HBO? It's from the same writer/director (James Gunn), which should give you some sense of the style of humor.
Songs are great if you're a fan of 60s/70s music.

That's a little disappointing. I've been looking forward to this one for years. It's the only Marvel movie since Endgame Ive been looking forward to.

This is concerning because this is similar to the divide we were seeing for Quantumania, and that movie is God awful.

Heck I personally enjoyed the last Ant Man. So that mean this movie must be mind blowing for me! But perhaps I enjoyed it more so for the movement of the overall storyline. I could've done without big head dude. But I am beyond excited for our 7pm showing tonight! We re-watched GOG1 again since it has been a LONG time. Saw plenty of parts that I would not have remembered as detailed had we not re-watched. And that's coming from someone who probably watched the first GOG 5 times back in the day. Let's go!!!

Maybe not quite like Quantumania but you have ****ing flesh satellite that isn't the most Compelling and looks like the monster from Slither became a space satellite. I don't mind it and there is a little more practicality at times but it still looked weird
