You put quotes around "racist" as if the daughter wasn't racist. Yet she clearly was. How can one tell? Because if a white character said, "I don't trust black people", then the entire country would have been up in arms about their racism. Racism is racism. It doesn't matter what race it is directed towards. And saying so isn't anti-woke vigilance, it's common sense.
And of course Obama has an agenda making this movie. Everybody has an agenda on everything we do. You had an agenda when you made your post. I have an agenda responding to it.
It's been a while, and the movie was quite forgettable, so I don't remember the reconciliation you are referring to. You talking about when they went looking for Julia Roberts's daughter? When she yelled at the deer? I don't consider any of that a "reconciliation", but a lame attempt to make the movie "scary". The black girl never said, "you know I was wrong about you people. White people are pretty awesome!" or anything like that.
And at first, I was entertained.. but mostly because I was looking forward to a clever explanation that never came. Sorta like how the ending of Game of Thrones pissed everybody off.
