We should get the bingo card rolling for season 2 injuries/cases.

I finally had time to catch the season finale. What a great, well made show. Excellent.

Shout out to the one nurse who apparently has a cooler of beer ready to go every shift, in case it's a bad one.

Finished this recently, really enjoyed it. The 1 episode per hour of shift was really interesting, kept the pace up and I kept wanting to watch another to see where things were going. That said, I did feel like a lot of the dialogue and interactions were how the writers think people should treat each other. Especially when Noah was comforting the doc who had the miscarriage. Not once did he hug or put his arm around her. Maybe people in Pittsburgh have a larger personal space, but I felt like it was a case of him overly respecting her autonomy and not having consent to physically comfort her or something.

Such a damn good show. I have no interest in medical shows normally too.

Quote:

George Clooney is sending Noah Wyle his praises for his work on The Pitt.

The former ER co-stars have remained friends since working on the NBC medical drama, and while appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Clooney expressed his happiness over Wyle's success.

"Have you guys seen that show?" Clooney asks the audience after Meyers brought it up. "It's so good."

Clooney then recalled that he and Wyle have "been really dear friends since we did the pilot [for ER]," adding, "He is just the most honorable, talented young man. I get to say [that] because I'm an old man and I cannot be happier for his success on the show. The show is just a beautiful show, and he does just a great job with it."

7 episodes in. I almost quit after 2 episodes because its just a lot and as someone that doesnt have anxiety...it was giving me anxiety. The acting was just too good though I couldnt stop.

Dr. Robby is one of the best characters I have ever seen.

and Dr. King is the best.

The wife and I watched this over several nights not too long ago. I don't normally have much interest in these kind of shows - watched ER occasionally back when that was all the rage - but this one grabbed me from the get-go. Characters were great. And it did feel real.

Saw that season 2 is slated to begin in January.

I binged this show over the last couple of weeks and it's great, but damn it's intense. Pretty sure this show is better served watching one episode per week so you can decompress from each one. Watching 1-2 per day is not recommended, I learned my lesson.

Very few shows have me wanting more after watching. This was one of them.
