My good friend at CI, Michael Totten, has informed me that we’ve lost half the mangroves in the world. These are nature’s fantastic way of protecting coastal environments from storm surges and hurricanes. Looking into wetlands and mangroves in New Orleans would be a great place to start in terms of that particular environment and the natural features that define it.

I think I'll let my Ten Club membership die this year. been a amember since late 2000, and have only been able to use the mebership for one Texas show. Thought the last album was kind of average.

Eddie Vedder April Fools Tour

ddie Vedder will embark on a small, west coast, solo tour beginning
April 2nd in Vancouver, BC and ending April 15th in San Diego, CA. The
Ten Club has scheduled a pre-sale for eligible members and we wanted you
to be the first to know!

Ten Club pre-sale tickets will go up for purchase on
http://www.tenclub.net/goods/ beginning at 10am PST on Monday, February
18, 2008. There are a very limited amount of tickets, so once sold out
through the Ten Club, your next available chance to purchase tickets
will be during the public on-sale.

Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Friday, February 22nd
at 10am* PST through www.ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster
outlets. (*Note: Santa Barbara goes on sale Friday, February 29th at 10am
PST).

Fan Club members active as of Feb. 14th will qualify for the 10c
pre-sale. Due to the limited amount of fan club tickets available only US and
Canadian members will qualify for the pre-sale. We apologize to our
overseas members!

Two (2) tickets per member only. No single tickets. Ten Club tickets
for the EV tour will NOT be seniority based. Tickets will be held in
priority locations, but seat allocation will be chosen at random. The base
ticket price for all shows is $65 per ticket, plus additional venue and
handling fees. Tickets for the pre-sale will be sold only on
http://www.tenclub.net/goods/ with a Visa or Mastercard. No phone or
mail orders.

Tickets will be distributed at will call on the evening of the
performance. Only the Ten Club member who purchased the tickets will be allowed

Tickets are non-refundable. No exchanges or transfers will be allowed.
Reselling of Ten Club tickets will result in revocation of all future

innocence, the West Memphis Three will finally have hearings this Spring to
introduce new DNA evidence proving they could not have committed the

Pearl Jam announced today a ten date East Coast tour, which begins June 11th in West Palm Beach, FL and wraps up June 30th in Mansfield, MA.

Rumour has it that Dallas has already been booked

Me thinkin about trying to see them in the Garden

Supposedly the AAC sent out an email advertising season tickets and had PJ listed.
Someone from the Ten Club posted on their board that no more dates are "currently planned"... but I wouldn't put it past Tim to intentionally try to screw Texas folks over like they did in '06. I wish they could get their acts together and do a tour announcement the way it should be done. Obviously I'm still bitter about the way the last tour was handled.

As long as I've been a Pearl Jam fan (I bought Ten the day it was released), I never joined the Ten Club

well, I was gonna let my 10 Club expire, but it'd be my luck they'd finally schedule a Houston date, so I renewed my membership, 2 months past expiration, but 1 month before I lost my number. I'm 200xxx which isnt great (joined in 2000) but got 10th row in 2003.

Sept. 25th - Dallas and Sept. 28th - Austin! Houston and/or San Antonio will probably fit in there too. See you there!

All you guys have really low numbers. Mine is 198xxx. Got Camden I tickets this week. FYI... Potential additional shows have been listed for Camden and Mansfield. 10C Sale is on Tuesday.

Will be heading to Santa Barbara and LA in a couple of weeks of the EV tour. Should be a great one. He played two secret shows in Seattle this week. Setlist looked great.

Going to the two MSG shows as well as West Palm and Tampa.

Next weekend I'll be seeing Ed in Santa Cruz.
