buildthehell02 - nope, I was second tier as well in '03 (frequently 3rd at bigger shows). At Vegas, I was in the fourth or fifth group.

The ticketing now is entirely seniority based, so the concept of tiers doesn't really exist anymore. Lower number = better tickets. Period.

Pfeffer is in the mid-140's. At shows where I was 3rd group, his number would have been second. At OKC, he was first group while I was second.

so they actually sort the tickets and member numbers now for every show? I feel like they've said that before and it was still tiers.

They played Pearl Jam in the closing scene of "Scrubs" the other night. Although I'm not sure if it was a new song or older. I never heard the song before but I know it was Pearl Jam.

Does anyone know the song they played?

Studio version of 'Long Road' from the 'Merkinball' EP played during Scrubs.

Hopefully my 141XXX number will yield some decent tickets this time around.

No 'Holiday Single' or Deep Issue #1 for me in Austin. However we have moved to a new place last week so maybe its held up somewhere.

Anyway, Longhorn here respecting the Love the Ags are throwing PJs way. Actually met my fiance at a Pearl Jam show in Boston in 2004. I bought tix last night for both Toronto shows. SWA has airfare from Austin to Buffalo on sale right now for $115.00 round trip so I couldn't pass that up. Planning on going to the Philly show, hopefully show(s), the following week.

Saw my first PJ show in 1995 in Austin and it was the only time I ever left a horns game early!! My 20th concert will be this summer after hitting Toronto and Philly.

Yep. That started with the Canada tour last fall.

Yep. It was was night 1 at the Fleet Center. We met through a mutal friend at The Harp before the show. We went to both Boston shows, Reading and Kissimmee. She is from Philadelphia and moved to Austin in June. She got home from work today and said she wanted to do to the Chicago show too. So I bought Chicago tix tonight!!

So now we are planning Toronto I/II, Chicago, Philadelphia I (II) and DC. (For the 1st leg).

She wants to go back to the Shoreline in Mountain View and do Vegas and all the shows in Texas and within the SWA 99.00 fares.

She did London by herself in 2000 and wants to go back this time. Think I'm going to tell her no??

This thread has inspired me to bust out the October of 2000 Houston concert cd (I went to that show). Pearl Jam was my favorite band for the longest time. Currently only second to Guns n' Roses at times.

I own probably around 40 Pearl Jam cd's. All of the albums and singles plus some bootlegs. It was hard for me to come across a Pearl Jam song that I did not like until Riot Act came out. Riot Act is the biggest pile of crap. I bought it blindly knowing it would be good. Oh well. Hopefully this new cd will be better. If they stop in SA/Austin/or most likely Houston, then I'll go to the show regardless.

My copy of Riot Act is pretty great. Love Boat Captain? Save You? Arc into All or None? Awesome. Of course, if you like GNR I'll bet your favorite PJ albums are Ten and Vs. For me, those 2 haven't aged well at all, and I hate em, think they really started to get going on Vitalogy.

I much prefered Riot Act to Binural.

I think binaural is their indie rock album - not as many hooks, but nice and edgy. love insignificance, breakerfall, sleight of hand, greivance. but there are some duff tracks on that album too, nothing as it seems, rival. ugh.

Rival on the album is just a victim of piss poor production. The live performance is like a whole other song. NAIS does, indeed, suck ass.


Picked up a pair today for the 06/03/2006 show in East Rutherford, NJ. I've never seen 'em at a big, NYC-area venue, so this should be a good one. Plus, it's the day after my birthday!

How do you get SNL tickets. That is hard. Might go hang out up there the day of the taping and hope to get in on standby.

My girlfriend is 3 degrees of seperation from one of NBCs "Friends" producers. We are going to try that route this week. Its a long shot.

I remember at the SA show in 2003 how proud I was that I had the same hair as Eddie Vedder. And now look at him.
