Actually that's not true. I saw an interview with the actor who played Vito and they whole gay mobster is based on a real guy. The actor playing Vito had read a book about a real hitman that was gay and was accepted by the mob world because he was good at what he did. The actor then got them to make his character on the show gay.

I'm sticking with a "life goes on" type ending. I don't think the Feds finally get Tony, I don't think Phil is going to whack Tony, Tony's not going to flip.

Thoughout the entire 6B season, Tony has alienated and hurt firends/family. I think the show ends with Tony still in "power" but being very alone (and maybe a little paranoid about his future as boss). I've wondered if Carm would leave Tony at the end of the show, but she needs him way too much.

I do think Melfi will end Tony's therapy with her. Her therapist's comments may have solidified something she knew deep down. Both Tony and her have questioned the usefullness of their therapy sessions in 6B.

Oh and I don't think the ducks come back. Tony had the asbestos dumped in their pond (you can hear ducks in the background when the asbestos was being dumped). Tony's right- "everything he touches turns to ****".

Sorry! I tried to be vague enough not to give away much.

i know the cast has been instructed to, and is often being vague and misleading in their comments about how the show ends. so that 'spoiler' wasnt something i'd put 100% stock into.

I'm really sad this coming to an end.

I'm just glad I missed the spoiler on Lost and on this thread.

i guess if it was more than one hour, they woulda done just one more episode.

The last episode is actually an extension, the originial order was 8 episodes for the second half of the season, Chase asked for one more hour.

Plus it makes it easier to get people to hang around for the premiere of John From Cincinnati, which I'm actually pretty excited about.

Wow, I expected at least 1.5 hours.

I don't want to ruin anything for those who haven't watched yet, but I was SO not expecting both. I figured one or the other.. but no way both. DAMN.

I knew Bobby was coming, Sil shocked me.

good news hopefully is that Sil is still alive.

i dont think i've ever watched a television show in which i felt like i had so much emotionally invested. my heart was racing a mile minute the entire episode. thats what makes this show special and probably the greatest drama in TV history.

i think Tony dies in the end. i've been flipflopping all year on how it will end..but theres no way a small crew like Jersey can go to war with NY and win.

i also think that someone in Tony's crew will be the one to turn on him. either Paulie or Patsie will make the deal with NY and finish Tony off like Gotti did with Paul Costellano.

i cant believe theres only one episode left...but these last 3 episodes especially have been perhaps the greatest stretch in television history, and definitely in Sopranos history.

I agree. I was on the edge of my couch, yelling at the tv, freaking out. My heart was racing. It was ridiculous. And the sad thing is, I have such emotions over such horrible characters, but I just can't help it.

I'm not convinced Tony is going to die. That just seems too easy. I don't know. The preview for next week didn't give us a damn thing, though.

I cannot wait for next Sunday, but at the same time, I don't ever want to it get here because I am gonna be so sad when this is all over.

I think Tony lives and like I thought to begin with, is all alone. All of his friends from his family are dead and I believe Sil will die. The final scene will either be Sil dying with Tony there or Tony all alone contemplating it.

All after they kill NY.

I was screaming "Don't kill Sil...Don't kill Sil" the whole time during that scene. He has always been my favorite. I was a little pissed at him a few seasons ago, but that to me is harder than Tony dying in my book! My husband could see a total **** like Paulie being the only one left with Tony who he hates...basically.

I had my hand over my mouth, screaming NO! NO! when they killed Sil. I was so disappointed. He's always been one of my favorites.

You know, I wouldn't be surprised at this point if Carmella, Meadow or AJ gets hurt or killed. Particularly since Tony made a point to tell Carm, when he was trying to get her to leave, 'You know they don't come after the family." A little foreshadowing, perhaps? We already know Phil's guy Coco had no issues going at Meadow in the restaurant.

I think we can safely predict at least one person shall be whacked next week.

Sil and Bobby are gone. Carm and the kids are in hiding. Tony is truly, and deservedly, alone.

If they aren't making a movie, which I suppose would be hard now, I hope Phil himself whacks Tony, and then Paulie runs up, whacks Phil, and then does himself because he doesn't have anything to live for.

It's crazy that none of us have any idea what is going to happen next week!
