At the same time, US military social media has before used pictures of Russian equipment .

One of the most iconic videos of the war. Assaults like these aren't possible these days. Chosen company has since disbanded. A few of the guys are still active though. The commander Ryan is still active on twitter. The lines don't look like this now. All of the guys on both sides would have been fpv'd in like 20 minutes today. Crazy how much it's changed.
Russian Z-bloggers are claiming that China has now effectively taken over a large part of Russia`s far east. China is now allegedly earning taxes from areas from Chita all the way to Vladivostok, with a large Chinese population now residing there. pic.twitter.com/sFl00mXAWN

Funding for Ukraine aid again before Congress.
"At $300 million to $400 million, Congress is not trying to underwrite the war effort alone. That would cost billions. It is trying to keep Ukraine's forces viable, reinforce European burden sharing, and maintain Western leverage in negotiations as Russia continues to attack Ukraine's cities and infrastructure."

This was brought 3 years ago, but Russia can't really afford to move troops back to the east to protect its border. If they do, Ukraine needs to take full advantage.Russian Z-bloggers are claiming that China has now effectively taken over a large part of Russia`s far east. I'd like more corroboration of the Chinese incursion into the Far East. I think there would be a bigger stink over it if it was legit.

I don't think Russia wants to appear even weaker so they would not squeal too loudly. After all, what can Russia actually do about it with their military stretched so thin?

Russia can do a lot in response to a major incursion on areas that include the Russian mainland in that military industrial area. That's the kind of thing that would provoke a nuclear response.

You're explaining why there would be no nuclear response. And Russia has most of their military assets tied up in Ukraine.

The Russian pacific fleet is anchored in Vladivostok along with key naval assets and nuclear arsenals. It is also a large port and shipbuilding center for the Russian. To the NW and the aforementioned Komsomolents-an-Amur, Sukhoi's largest military and civilian aerospace plant exists along with several strategic airbases. That entire region is industry heavy and a lot of it tied up in defense production. They would defend the hell out of it and burn it and everyone else down trying.

Poland transferred the majority years ago. This is the final 14 which it couldn't let go until it had enough new FA-50s on board to backfill for its own defense needs.
