How much is Iran being preoccupied going slow down Russia and sending drones into UKE
There were new Iranian drone factories set up in Russia, as I recall. There should be ZERO operational Iranian drone factories within Iran shortly.

It's so touching how much they tried to comfort Yeva when she was scared.

Ukrainian forces are successfully counterattacking not only in the Oleksandrivka and Hulyaipole directions but also in western Zaporizhia Oblast. These counterattacks are generating tactical, operational and strategic effects that may disrupt Russia's Spring-Summer 2026 offensive campaign plan.
The Russian command likely hoped that Russian advances in the Hulyaipole direction would complement Russian advances near Orikhiv, which would in turn enable Russian forces to advance toward Orikhiv from the east and west and later enable advances toward Zaporizhzhia City itself.
Russian forces are thus facing a far more difficult battlefield situation in southern Ukraine in early March than they did at the start of 2026.
The counterattacks in southern Ukraine are also having strategic effects in other parts of the theater. The cascading effects that the Ukrainian counterattacks in the Oleksandrivka, Hulyaipole, and Zaporizhia directions have generated in other sectors of the front show how constrained the Russian force structure in Ukraine really is.
Very interesting footage from Russians indicating that Ukrainian Forces use laser light beam to fry fiber optic on "waiter" drones.

Incredible footage and a damning indictment of the state of Russian air defence. Not only did the Ukrainian cruise missiles not get intercepted, a Ukrainian recon drone was flying above the city and filming the entire thing. Russia does not have any high-end military equipment. If they did they wouldn't be fighting over farming villages in eastern Ukraine.
Their army is completely incompetent and their air force is a joke with a handful of nice looking planes that can't actually perform.
The one thing this war has taught us, and it was apparent 6 months in, is that other than their nuclear missile arsenal (land and sub) Russia itself is a toothless tiger that could not overrun Poland, Hungary and Czech much less actual NATO forces.
