I'm absolutely in favor of USPS reform. But the USPS actually is an independent agency and not already part of the Executive Branch like the SSA and IRS are. Bringing the USPS under Commerce Department control could be a legitimate fight.

Running off entitled big mouths that won't follow the chain of command is one of the big reasons why Trump got elected and chose Hegseth to lead the Department of Defense. I would expect any officer to have better discretion and have the self control to hold their tongue, even if they don't like the SoD or CIC.

Better polish up that resume.

He is prior enlisted. As a former enlisted guy myself on a submarine, enlisted guys are good at telling you want they think. Generally, we aren't good at holding our tongues. And he looks like you'd think he would.
