Im curious how they managed to open accounts in the first place.

As I've posted before, my green card wife has to provide every bank documentation including her green card to open an account or even to be on my account.

So how does someone without documentation get an account?

Im not a banker, but with all the laws on money laundering etc, I'm pretty sure illegals weren't allowed accounts.
All this order does is force the issue.

In my world, the President of the United States should be removing every incentive and convenience that entices people to illegally enter or make it convenient to remain in the United States. If they get the deportation that they 100% deserve, a US bank account will be of little use to them when they are back in their homeland.

Trudeau's debanking of the truckers was purely about silencing political opposition. That's not what Trump is doing and I would not support him doing that to American citizens even if they are leftists...unless you can get an indictment for RICO against members of Antifa.

People here legally won't be de-banked. This is about using every tool and process available to ID and ferret out illegals and fraudsters. This is no different than auditing state DMVs for licenses and CDLs issued to illegals.

You might want to look at what is actually happening in this administration. They are reevaluating naturalized citizens, green card holders and deporting DACA recipients

The good news is I actually believe Trump is about to do immigration reform and sign the Dignity Act which will make all your heads explode.

It's because they are here illegally. Only legal citizens, residents of the US, and other non-sanctioned entities are legally allowed to access the US financial system. So you want amnesty. Thanks for clearing that up, because anytime, anyone uses the phrase "immigration reform" it ALWAYS means amnesty.

The only thing Trump needs to do is keep deporting illegals, and if he can ditch DACA, which was never some kind of permanent residency, and deport them as well, even better.
