Lawyer has to get paid somehow. Illegal doesn't understand the system, so lawyer stretches it out. Just a guess.

I mean it's the first year of a four year turn. I get waiting it out if it was the last year but I'm trying to envision the winning scenario here for them.

And I doubt the immigration lawyers for the type of people getting detained by ICE are wearing $5k suits…..

I imagine that a chunk of them are being poorly advised by their NGO lawyers to stick around because they need the political tool of having them remain. If they leave, there is nothing to gain.

Fat chance. I pick up backpacks, water bottles, Bumble Bee tuna cans, and clothing all the time. Also find blankets stashed up in bushes and trees just off the ground and occasional good stashes buried and camouflaged.

Quick note… Kudlow had Charlie Hurt on his show this afternoon and Kudlow trotted out Homan replacing Noem as DHS secretary. Trump was asked about Noem staying in her role as he went to AF1 today, and he reaffirmed his support.

But Kudlow has Trumps ear and vice versa. Personally I like Homan on the field, but he again has done too good a job and in particular with toning it down in MSP.

Thought it was interesting. Feels like a deliberate trial balloon particularly if more "suggestions" surface.

If anyone refuses to work with the gov because of life they should lose their ability to get gov contracts. Lets see how long people hold out.

She is so fracked in the head. She says it would be okay if they were going after a pedo and a racist, but claims that isn't what they are doing there. How the hell would she know? Maybe they are, maybe they aren't, she doesn't know either way, but for the safety and protection of the citizens from a potential violent criminal shouldn't she err on the side of caution and let the justice system work it out instead of just relying on her baseless assumptions and let criminal predators roam free?

they very well may be blackmailing poor unfortunate souls to take the risk with threats or holding their families hostage or something, but at some point the loss of assets - boats and drugs - should start to take affect and ultimately make a real positive impact on the mental illness and homeless epidemic we're seeing in USA.

I particularly enjoyed her pleading for someone to help her as she films a mostly empty parking lot and people drive by.

See lady, no one cares your husband who has been here illegally for 3 decades punch his one way ticket to where he belongs.

He had over a year to self-deport and reapply for admission. He rolled the dice, he lost.

Tough tits to the crybaby trying to get sympathy.

She can deport herself to keep her family united. Regardless, the husband has to go back.

1. If here under legal circumstances, why couldn't he get his citizenship in over 30 years?
2. Breaking up families? If you've been married for 28 years, your kids are grown and shouldn't be living at home. You are free to go live with him in his country of origin (see how lax their immigration policies are).
3. What exactly are you wanting the people of the Walmart parking lot to do?
4. Make up your mind. Is it ICE, Border Patrol, FBI...?

you heartless conservatives just don't understand that 30 years isn't long enough to apply for any kind of permanent residency or achieve US citizenship. why should someone have to become legal and start paying taxes here if they just barely got here 30 years ago and don't know if they're going to stay here or not? Shouldn't they be able to reap the benefits that your tax dollars fund for 30 more years before they make their own decision?

How many NGO lawyers do you think are being paid to pursue absolutely hopeless cases?

They know their cases are hopeless, but, they fight them anyways, because they want to get paid.
