Given the cops interrupted the second shooting, I wonder if his plan was just to get as far down the list as he could. Also, he was renting a room from the roommate in question, not the other way around.

This is a political message board. A political figure was just murdered. Discussing all the possible potential motives is the right way to approach any question and eventually get to the truth.

Boelter shot/killed Hortman after police arrived at the home. When confronted by police he ran into the home and that's when he killed Hortman and the husband.

Shooter researched addresses and family members of victims. Conducted surveillance. He basically stalked them all.

Charged with multiple federal charges, some of which are punishable by death.

Thanks for clearing that up (as much as possible).

Still creates a lot of questions. Was he estranged or divorced? Why not get his own place (money problems)?

Perhaps a second place he used while traveling for work?

You would honestly have to pay me to live with that guy... so maybe there is a background history there.

I'm sure the detectives are pursing it or looking for some logic here.

Well, we do have about 100 "conspiracies" over the last 10 years that turned out to be true (Russian collusion, Braindead Biden, Hunter laptop, Social Media/Government collusion, etc...) . Conservatives tend to use history, data and logic to draw conclusions. Liberals... not so much.

His writings (hundreds of pages, done over a period of months) were all about planning.

But, why does he have a roommate? Isnt he married? Governor appointed positions for him and spouse, ties to security companies and an NGO.... but lives with the weird papa johns 50yo guy (that obviously smells like cat ****/piss)?

In a press conference yesterday some reporter asked about this tub of lard and the lead investigator said they had not interviewed him nor they have anything that indicated any veracity of his claims. He likely just some kook that wanted his fifteen minutes. He put on that entire crocodile tears act reading something off his phone claiming they were texts from the shooter however he wouldn't allow any of the reporters look at the texts or share any screenshots claiming he wanted to keep them private, yet he claimed to be reading them aloud to reporters on video.
