The vote was part of the budget process and the measure was ultimately approved by the state senate (with a Democrat majority) and will be signed into law (by Democrat Tim Walz). Republicans control the house in Minnesota 67-66 and did not need Hortman's vote to pass the measure

11 months and we just recently found out Crooks made a couple of videos for college applications.

Regardless, if FML wanted to take hardline stance on giving illegals free healthcare, they could have done so with or without her vote. They control the senate and the governor and could have still not approved the budget and shut down the government after it came out of the house.

It was not as controversial as it sounds - her vote was hardly a betrayal - it facilitated the budget to go over to the FML led Senate (where it passed) and then on to the desk of the FML governor (where it was signed).

The majority of libs were celebrating Luigi murdering the heathcare company CEO. I don't know of any libs that have aggressively called for the death penalty for Karmelo Anthony. The turnabout and bloodthirst from the left on this incident is interesting. Perhaps I just missed the same level of passion from the left in the other incidents.

I hear ya - it's dangerous when we label the other side as evil/scum, etc for different political views but we're seeing the extremes of both sides express those views more and more
