The GOP owns both houses of congress. It's HIS FREAKING CONGRESS. By comparison, Obama passed Obamacare without a single GOP vote when he owned congress.

The BBB is a joke. The "cuts" (that were less than the spending increases) are made in the future and over 10 freaking years, while the spending increases happened immediately. And if it wasn't for Musk trashing the bill, Trump would have happily spent MORE.

And tax cuts don't mean crap if spending is increased. That money still comes out of our ass. Whether it is via inflation or other ways.

I was retorting two different arguments.


He either:

1) wants to spend like a flaming liberal (my point of view)
or
2) deep down wishes he could cut spending, but can't get congress to go along (the point of view of others here)

#1 means he is basically a liberal and incompetent and #2 means he's just incompetent.

Increasing the CRAP out of spending is the POS part. Tax cuts don't mean a damned thing if we pay even more in the future or now in inflation.

The BBB increased federal spending by $500 Billion while introducing tax rollbacks and tax code handouts some of which makes sense but others of which are just the type of straight up dumb@ss voter buys you only see in third world countries. Most everyone views our deficits growing by $3 Trillion at a minimum even after allowing for a theoretical surge in revenue.
