The NFL continues to ***** slap every conservative middle American and yet these morons keep watching this bull***** I quit in 2020 with their kneeling bull**** and haven't missed it one bit.
And yet the idiots keep watching and consuming it! They piss in our faces and these returds keep lapping it up and asking for more!
We are now at a weird place where celebs view cross dressing as edgy and courageous. As if challenging gender as a "social construct" is something to be applauded.
Hopefully this is just a phase that ultimately gets rejected by Gen Z. Otherwise, this country is in real trouble. I cant think of anything that benefits our enemies more than infecting society with this woke mind virus. I dont think its organic or random, nor was COVID.
Ah, the good old days when men saw women looking at dressed up and said, "Hold my beer."

Allow me to blow your mind…..he was not the headliner but was a performer in the Super Bowl halftime in 2020. Nobody said a peep back then
Wait, you mean people felt differently about him before he started bad mouthing America??!?!? That's INSANE!!!
Fair point but also a bit duplicitous. This thread (and others) is filled with people saying they've never heard of him before. So you can't say "we were fine with him 5 years ago but now hate him". Pick a story and stick to it.
honestly i don't know what the concern is if you don't like it don't worry it's in spanish so you probably won't understand it. maybe he can sing the star spangled banner as well. we are such a great tolerant country.
We are?
Oh, you mean the people who don't live and breathe political rage from social media on a daily basis.
Then, yes, for those of us like that, there's no more tolerant , or greater, country than the good 'old U.S.A.
There are in fact two things, science and opinion; the former begets knowledge, the later ignorance. Hippocrates
The NFL giving up HT show decision making was stupid, it's all the same BS now. JZ does not represent leading American culture. But this goes along with the NFL still having PC messaging on back of helmets and back of end zones.
I don't think the NFL knows their audience very well, but people still watch for the game action.
I don't think the NFL knows their audience very well, but people still watch for the game action.
It is not "their" audience they are trying to woo with the half time show. Their audience is already watching. Casual fans are watching. They are looking to get eyeballs that would not otherwise watch but for half time.
Nice pics. But I think it was more about non-conformity back then. While today, its more about gender being a social construct. Back then it was more "live and let live". Today, its "my way or you're a bigot", with the woke nonsense.....so wouldn't say your 80s makeup pics are a valid comparison to what we see today.
How about 90s?
Nirvana's In Bloom lyrics "He's the one Who likes all our pretty songs And he likes to sing along And he likes to shoot his gun But he knows not what it means Knows not what it means"
Cobain comes across as a little woke while sporting dresses and talking down to certain folks.
In the 80's, it was possible for you to be masculine and dress like a woman at the same time, but only if you were a rock-star. It's kind of like wearing a kilt, if you didn't pull it off right, you just look stupid.. It's a weird juxtaposition, hard to pull off, and didn't last too long, but it was a thing. It was not really about being gay, at least, not for most. Just about being weird, and challenging fashion norms without really challenging sexual norms.
We actually talked about that briefly in my sociology class in college.
Also,
Game, blouses.
It takes a special kind of brainwashed useful idiot to politically defend government fraud, waste, and abuse.
To assist with navigating all the hype I've seen in the past few days regarding Bad Bunny being selected as the main performer at the next Super Bowl, here is HollywoodBQ's treatise on Bad Bunny:
Let me get some bias out of the way early, I am a Born on the Island Puerto Rican and I have seen Bad Bunny in concert 3 times. 2019 - Madrid, Spain - paid about 50 Euro for a festival show called Rio Babel 2022 - Minute Maid, Houston - paid about $250 to sit in left field (with the pent up demand for concerts post-Covid, ticket prices were through the roof, it was thousands of dollars to get a ticket on the field) 2024 - Toyota Center, Houston - paid about $225 to sit in the rafters
I can't remember when or where I first heard any of Bad Bunny's songs but the ones that caught my attention in late 2018 or early 2019 were: Mia and Amorfoda. By the time Callaita came out in mid-2019, Bad Bunny was getting pretty popular.
No doubt, Bad Bunny's popularity and the general popularity of Reggaeton was riding the coattails of the O.G. Daddy Yankee who had really defined the genre 15 years earlier (Gasolina) and of course DY was on Luis Fonsi's massive 2017 hit - Despacito (don't even act like you haven't heard that song).
I probably first heard Bad Bunny on the radio in Sydney, or San Jose, or at the F45 gym I was going to in 2018 and 2019 (before the war). Bad Bunny's first two early hits were Mia and Amorfoda. He also featured on Cardi B's song "I Like It".
Unfortunately, the hitmakers decided to inject (well you know what Kendrick Lamar calls him) Canadian - Drake into the song "Mia"
The video for the song Amorfoda seriously looks like it could have been filmed at the local beach where I used to live but it was likely filmed closer to the town where Bad Bunny is from. It's worth watching the video just for the cars.
During the summer of 2019, I had to make two trips to Madrid for work (14 hours to Dubai + another 7 to Madrid) and the second trip coincided with a festival that happened to have Bad Bunny playing on the 4th of July. It was surprising how many of the concert goers congratulated me as an American on my Independence Day.
The guy opening for Bad Bunny was called PJ Sin Suela and the line to get into the venue was long. So I got to hear that guy's set from outside the gate. At the time, I didn't know about the FDT song featuring Nipsey Hussle (who had recently been murdered for being a snitch). All I could hear was this guy singing - F Trump, F Trump, etc. And I thought, if this crap keeps up, it's going to be a short night for me.
So it comes time for Bad Bunny's set and I'm noticing that the vast majority of the crowd is female and that all Spanish women look like they're cast out of a mold that makes them all 5'2" to 5'5" with straight black hair. But the other thing I notice is that all of these fans know all the words to all the songs. I only knew Mia, Amorfoda and the recently released Callaita.
The place was packed and the crowd was really into it.
There were lots of Puerto Rican flags flying in the crowd but I didn't have one with me. I'll definitely bring one next time I'm at an outdoor Bad Bunny show.
When Bad Bunny took the stage, he had a ton of backup dancers and he wasn't doing any political nonsense like the earlier act. He also seemed really humbled that there were "muchas banderas" in the crowd. He's definitely very proud to be Puerto Rican.
Here's Callaita from the concert in Madrid.
We go into 2020 and Bad Bunny is just a very popular Reggaeton musician who is also very young - born in 1994. The vast majority of English speaking Americans have no idea who he is.
"The War" (Covid) shuts everything down and during that time, Bad Bunny releases a couple albums and finally goes back on tour in 2022. During that Covid era, his music has only risen in popularity and his concert ticket pricing is completely out of control.
When I saw him at Minute Maid, he came out and he delivered the goods. He played for a long time and again, brought a bunch of backup dancers and supporting cast. It was an incredible production.
Here's a Fox 26 report about the shows at Minute Maid. Keep in mind, he sold out two nights.
During 2022 is when Bad Bunny makes his debut on the big screen playing the bad guy "The Wolf" in the Brad Pitt movie "Bullet Train". Luckily, his character didn't need to speak any English.
As we enter 2023, Bad Bunny is still just an immensely popular musician who is now branching into bit parts in films. Here is where things start to turn.
In late 2023, Bad Bunny puts out a new album with a song I like called "Monaco" with a music video featuring Al Pacino.
Also in late 2023, Bad Bunny hosts on SNL and his skit "The Age of Discovery" was hilarious
The tour in 2024 is every bit as popular as the last one. The funny thing for a 6'3" blond guy like me going to a Bad Bunny concert in Houston is that the vast majority of the crowd only comes up to my armpit. And of course the folks staring at me like I got lost or something (probably Nuyoricans).
Now, let's fast forward to the election.
Various celebrities are jumping on the Kamala bandwagon but Bad Bunny says nothing.
This was on Sunday, October 27th, 2024. Only 9 days before the election.
We know for a fact that many celebs were taking a lot of money from the Harris campaign for endorsements. Bad Bunny held out and did not choose any side or make any endorsement until the Day 98 of the 107 Day long Harris Campaign.
So up until then, he was just a hugely popular musician and an aspiring actor.
Imagine the pressure he must have been under from the Kardashians and others to have him come out and support the Democrat Party. Obviously, Tony Hinchcliffe's comments gave him cover to jump in and publicly support Kamala.
But now, the situation is different. He wound up on the losing side.
And as Trump has been taking care of business this year, saying something like I'm not going to tour the USA mainland this year because I don't want my fans getting deported, that's a pretty Win-Win scenario.
First, he certainly doesn't need any more money.
Second, he appears to be tired of touring and appears to be focusing on acting since he's hosting SNL again this coming weekend and he's in two movies that are coming out this year including "Happy Gilmore 2".
Third, telling his fans that he doesn't want to put them in a situation where they might get deported will only make him even more popular.
I've been around musicians (although none this famous) and they're wired differently than you or I. One of their main things is that they don't want to alienate their fans. Bad Bunny isn't LGBTQ++ as people online have said. But, he's not going to risk losing fans by going against the grain.
And once you've joined the lefties, that groupthink is a powerful force. You don't want to get voted off the island (figuratively).
As far as the cross dressing comments and such, the guy has a lot of costumes. Do I like them all. No. Do I agree with many of them. No. But, do I really care? Not really.
I watched Jason Whitlock on Monday coming out talking about how Bad Bunny was Satanic, etc. Seriously... just because you don't understand any Spanish and probably don't listen to Reggaeton doesn't mean that it's inherently evil. We're all sinners by the way - in case you forgot.
Ultimately, with respect to Bad Bunny being the Super Bowl halftime entertainment, I like it. It probably won't be as Black as Kendrick Lamar's performance. And speaking of Kendrick Lamar, I hope they don't bring Drake out to support Bad Bunny. Leave him right where Kendrick Lamar broke him.

Some speculation in the Zoo is that JFF is bringing Drake in support at the South Carolina game.
I hate how the NFL handed the Super Bowl halftime show performer to Jay-Z and his ROC Nation company. I think Bad Bunny is the worst selection because he doesn't sing a single song in English, and about 78.3% of U.S. residents aged 5 and older speak only English at home.

Honestly, they should be riding the K Pop wave but...
The Spanish speaking audience is a growth market beyond the existing Cowboys and Raiders fans.

The US seems fine with appreciating songs in other languages, which is kind of cool.
. , , His fourth solo album, Un Verano Sin Ti (2022), spent 13 weeks atop the [US] Billboard 200, was named the best-performing album of the year, and became the first Spanish-language album to be nominated for the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. He followed it with the Billboard 200 number-one albums Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana (2023) and Deb Tirar Ms Fotos (2025). . .
Add in the fact that BB is a worldwide celebrity and the NFL is growing its audience (games in Mexico, South America, and Europe) beyond the 50+ domestic white male market, who have either forgiven it or never will, this seems like an easy call.
Cobain comes across as a little woke while sporting dresses and talking down to certain folks.
Yeah, those 80s and 90s artists were all about rejecting societal norms. My point is that it's much worse and prevalent among kids today. Sadly, it will likely get worse with Netflix trans kids shows etc.

That's a lot of words for your typical NGO sponsored pedo Hollywood and music puts out nowadays.
I can see why the NFL is trying to grow its base. It lost a lot of interest from its core fan base during the George Floyd asskissing epidemic.
The nfl has been losing its base and obviously is not going back to what it was that made it great. So it is trying to appeal to the soccer fans in other countries in its scheduling.
On top of that, It's become boring to watch. All the offenses are the same. And the team with the best QB is most likely to win. So why waste your life minutes on watching the obvious happen. Take a bow Tom Brady. Is it really surprising that fewer and fewer really care about the weekly build up to the Super Bowl on Sunday afternoons in the fall.
College football is wide open on thur, fri & Saturdays. Football fans have had their fill by the time the same ol' same ol nfl rolls around on Sunday at noon.
And the nfl still needs 6 pundits to tell us what's going to happen in 14 games. When it reality all you have to do is look at the standings to tell you which teams really suck and have little to no chance. I guess that's why you need 6 ex-players to manufacture interest in maybe a couple of big games a week. The rest are garbage.
Plus The NFL still.Has its woke agenda statements in the end zones. Many people have moved on from that idiotic year. But the nfl is still clinging to it, like it means something. Lose the virtue signaling already. It's a turn off.
Kendrick Lamar was nothing short of cringe last year, so they are trying out bad bunny for relief. Next year they will have to go full on titty bar to generate a little interest in halftime. Which has had a pretty good run of being a complete turn off of late.
Use to the nfl had the cowboys (formerly known as americas team) for fans to either love or hate. Now the fans that hate them love to see them come into town, for a throwback win against the old guard of the nfl. 3 decades of no Super Bowl will have a way of reducing your aura around the league.
But bring on bad bunny to save halftime from itself, they can work on the rest of the league later.
I haven't followed the NFL after a few former players told me stories about what happened behind the scenes so I don't have a horse or any interest in this race.
If you don't like the NFL halftime show then don't watch, Jay-Z's company Roc Nation chooses who will perform and y'all act surprised they chose Bad Bunny who is the polar opposite of Trump. Roger Goodell's father Charles was a republican in the house and senate but voted liberal. Heck he believed in the Great Society that gave us the welfare programs we fight today.
I don't like the decisions the NFL makes so I don't watch or follow. The people that run the league are not good people

It's still amazing to me how many morons don't know that Puerto Ricans are Americans.
Including the President
Wait a minute... I was told that Trump (presumably borrowed GW Bush's Hurricane machine) caused Hurricane Maria to destroy the power grid on the Island so that Puerto Ricans would suffer and die.
Not to mention he ran against Joe Biden who was raised by Puerto Ricans before his big moment with Corn Pop.

He was also on the last season of Narcos. He did a great job.
