2 quick points:

• 10% - a decent estimate is the percentage of US women 20-30 who have ever had an OnlyFans account. In that respect, this announcement is a good thing if you believe porn and the porn industry is generally degrading to its participants, as I do.

I was discussing this with an associate. Every criminal defendant is going to use this as a defense when there is any video evidence.

Every DA and even solicitor for misdemeanor charges is going to have to have an AI expert in house.

I've already seen videos of big waves that wash over people that i can tell are AI generated. I assume they are doing that for clicks, like most anything on the internet these days. But in the near future they will be real enough that it might be impossible for the average guy to detect a difference between real and AI. That will happen with everything. AI mud slides? No problem. Mud slides, tidal waves, rock slides, volcanoes, the rapture, police, politicians, everything. Everything. I'm not sure what measures can be put in place to confirm anything on video in the future is real. Possibly, some sort on block chain thing that was mentioned. Something like any source that claims to only produce real material will put a token of some sort tied to it that confirms they produced it. Then you just have to decide how much you trust that particular source.

Legalize prostitution - cuts down on sexual assaults. How are we doing with that? Has all this easy access to gratification dried up the market for human trafficking or stamped out violent sexual crime?

Now we are talking about another quantum leap in porn production. Will this finally reverse the trend and make exploitation of real humans a thing of the past?

Still camera companies (Nikon, Cannon, etc.) provided a service where they would confirm if a photo was an original photo taken directly from a camera or had been modified after the fact (photoshop).

The problem isn't going to be the prosecution, it's going to be the defense and accused having to spend the money proving it's not them. Unless the states/feds pass some law along some chain of custody guidelines where an independent 3rd party has to confirm a video is raw footage, then defendants will be guilty until proven innocent.

And if it a video goes viral, not amount of convincing that the viral video is fake is going to ever truly exonerate someone. Look at the George Floyd officers. There is video clearly showing Chauvin was on his shoulder, but the original video looked like he was on his neck and choked to death. Hell, I know people to this day who are convinced Chauvin killed him even though we all know he OD's and you can't choke someone by kneeling on the side/back of their neck.

I think it is important to recognize the changes in oneself and not hang on to the old days and old ways. I am very guilty of this but I am adjusting myself and accepting this. We tend to glamorize the "always hustling, always busy" lifestyle, but to what end? We forgot what is REALLY REALLY important to us.

My younger one is a senior in HS and I am helping her with her applications. She will be gone to college next year. I take every opportunity to spend time with her, drop her to school, pick her up, drop to the library for study, and back.

I love the creative part of a job, but I absolutely hate the politics, toxicity and the wastefulness (spend too much time in useless meetings and writing status updates no one reads). Life has to be better than this. Thankfully I don't need the money, I invest well and make several times more than a salary (thank God for some mercies).

The girl-boss types forget their biology and end up as sad and angry cat ladies hating on men for "rejecting them" when they did all the rejecting when they were young and attractive (but with a bad attitude).

I heard this play on the radio about 15 years ago and I thought this was far off. It is here already, one kid is out and the other one is leaving in a year.

Believe the bold will be just the opposite. If there is just one documented case of prosecutorial fraud with video (we already have had this, but with AI mean) the overall scandal will lead to the benefit of the doubt not being given. Especially if the prosecution has an arrogant presumptive manner to it. The presumption is supposed to be innocent and the whole fed close to always conviction rate is going to come under new doubts.

The idea of some kind of mark that proves authentic, if became trusted, might be the route. Very early and too difficult to say right now.

Women are making themselves less and less relevant in the modern world. They are doing it to themselves.

Almost all women I talk to believe that men care about their jobs, their income levels, their titles, how much of a girl-boss they are. I am shocked when I hear this. It includes my sister in law and to some extent my wife too. Women today are led to believe by the media that their self-worth exists only if they have a job and have a title. If you are a stay at home mom, you are worthless. Women judge other women (it is never men).

If women are feminine no longer, don't know or want to do feminine things like cook, keep house, take care of babies and just sport a bad attitude all day, then what good are they? Just to make babies with. Once AI figures that out, then women may just go extinct. I am kidding of course but maybe I am not.

I wonder how the world will look like in 2100AD. I have seen 2000AD and photos/video of 1900 AD and the world looked very different back then.

I'll concede your point that a shift to AI would reduce the demand for real women in the porn industry. If I did not answer your specific objection, then I beg pardon. My point was that the mainstreaming of porn has done nothing to reduce human trafficking or sexual violence as some claimed it would. If anything, the opposite has happened. AI porn may not be the proximate cause for real exploitation of real women, but an increase in porn consumption will not reduce it either.

porn creates an increased appetite for more and more extreme material. It is insidious in how addictive it is and it often is an unbreakable addiction. This leads to personal relationships losing their meaning/attraction because they don't provide the "high" that the addict needs

Guys give up because there is almost no chance. Women today are more hassle/work than they are worth. Who wants to wine and dine a woman and then have to deal with her girl-boss/feminist drivel?
