Democrats are trying to show how Trump has destoyed the Center. Ticket sales reported in the ****ter.

Ultimately Democrats are going to return because that's how they show us how superior they are to us peasants.

Meanwhile, Trump puts a fresh coat of paint... changes the name, and in mid-term elections in '26, he'll be able to tout how he "saved" the Center.

I think this is it. All the renaming of stuff like military bases pissed a lot of people of. Trump was probably one of them. I think Trump is partially doing this as a lesson to stop with the re-naming as it can go both ways but also because I think he likes doing it especially when he can put his own name on it. But saying that, I don't think he would be doing this for the latter reason if it wasn't for the first reason first.

Trump just asked about this in the Q&A after rescheduling weed and he said its a great honor and is recognition for him saving the Kennedy Center. Makes sense to me.

I think this is the most I've ever seen fellow conservatives care about the arts. I run in conservative circles and practically everyone I know views the arts as a complete waste of time, effort and resources.

Oh, I have no idea. And honestly, I don't have the time or intelligence to figure out the answer.

Trump didn't do anything regarding the naming of the Trump-Kennedy Center. It was a unanimous vote by an independent board.

Trump was working in the office on rescheduling marijuana, establishing the Patriot Games, and more.

At this point, I'd rather not have your vote at all. But to be honest, I cease believing people when they say
I voted xyz, but...".

I'm pretty sure the Kennedy Center was given that name by Congress. Trump can call it what he wants but he can't change the name.
