The amount being reported in mainstream media says $257,000,000. But no clue as to how much goes to the actual center itself for maintenance, repairs, etc. and how much is designated for kickbacks.
The Arc de Trump should actually piss of both liberals and conservatives alike. Wasteful use of money for a monument that literally accomplishes nothing (well, except making people upset).
I would much rather have seen private donations, funding, etc. be put to better use and to something that benefits the country as a whole. Monuments and statues are even dumber things to spend money on than upscale art exhibits.
