Yeah not a bug. Still funny though, so I included it.
I got killed like that so many times by those bastages when I was low level. I made myself a promise that once I got to a high enough level, I would kill every single one of them I ran across. And thus Skyrim was rid of the giants and their stinky mammoth cheese.

Got it on Xbox, lots of fun and looks great (except for NPCs, not impressed with facial features, would be curious to compare to PC and PS4). already put in about 6 hours without batting an eye. More difficult than New Vegas, and not much in the way of tutorials which I suppose is 'realistic'.
Tip: Pick up everything you can, you'll be able to use it in crafting (and can store it all at crafting locations). Crafting is a lot different than I remember in previous games.

That being said, for min/max in Fallout 4, it is advised to avoid picking up bobbleheads till your stat is already at 10, then the bobblehead will raise it to 11. If you are 9 and pick one up, you are capped at 10.
Can you explain the bobble head thing. Never played before. Are they things you find that give you a point boost when you equip them?
Don't equip them. Pick them up and they raise your stat 1 point.

Not your overall level. The level of the skill. For example if you find a bobble head for strength and you are at strength 9, it's a good idea to find a way to get to 10 and then pick it up so you will get to 11.
I think if you find a strength bobble head you will be able to max out at 11 regardless of what your strength is upon use.
I did the autodownload and I'm only at 65%
Damn. I get home a little early and hope to play before the wife gets home. 30 minutes to download a mandatory PS4 update, 45+ minutes for Fallout download update, plus gotta install the famn thing. So much for playing today.

Nope. If you get your SPECIAL to 10, whether you use bobblehead or not, you can not go higher. Getting the item while at 10 forces it higher. Glaring oversight if you ask me.

If you're on PC you can always do player.modav ______ 11. Where ______ is your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. skill. But don't be a cheater

Lol. No rule 1 for you guys, and she hates playing online. We don't make avatars of each other, but I did make custom GI Joes of her motorcycle club for a fundraiser. Did I mention she rides her own Harley? (So do I) And that she was a motorcycle mechanic for a couple of years?

No way. New born baby is perfect excuse to stay up all night long playing video games. Wife will think it's totally normally if you just don't come to bed. Tell her you are taking baby duty for the night. You dont catch **** from wife or inlaws for playing video games and in fact you earn points for letting mommy get full night sleep. I am still waiting for my copy from best buy, left the UPS station at 6 am this morning and still "in transit".
I freaking love the classical radio. One of the best things in the whole game. But I'm also a music nerd. It's a lot better than that bumbling idiot on diamond city radio anyway.

I've had to put off finishing an eight page paper in order to get other stuff done and now I have to get it finished tonight and tomorrow night (work until 6 everyday). Looks like I'll just have to stare at it on my desk until then.
Game is awesome! I have everything I need here in the Vault 111. found a couple of sweet beds by Overseer's office that I sleep in. Plenty of water to drink from faucets. Got lots of radroach meat to eat. A shower. I wake up and go play Red Menace/Donkey Kong on the recreation terminal for a few hours. Then back to sleep. Rinse repeat. I am about 30 hours in so far. I could probably play this game for weeks. Its real easy to survive here in the Vault.

Lol. I left the vault in 5 minutes. Maybe I should have explored more...
Cant decide if loan wanderer perk is worth it or if its way better to have companions...
