Already saved after the legendary, I just figured out before I had to shut down to go pick up my son that I could probably use the arches to my advantage.
quote:I got one yesterday "A settlement nearby is having a problem with some raiders" ... click on map ... keep scrolling south ... no keep going ... oh there it is about as far south as you can get .. I haven't even been down there yet and I am only level 21 ... not sure I want to venture that far south after the trouble I had with the Castle.
He gave me a mission to talk to the settlers of Sanctuary...while we were standing in the middle of Sanctuary.
quote:WHAT THE HELL? Perhaps I'm only at level 14 so I'm not into the game as far as you guys yet, but I was stoked about having 600 rounds of 38. I've probably had at most 40 rounds of .45; how do you get so many? Does it get easier to find throughout the course of the game?
Rjgjt now .45 ammo is king. I have a legendary combat rifle that fires two projectiles and I do damage in the 150-160 range (i forget offhand) with it. I have close to 2000 rounds of it too.
I have a beastly shotgun, but it only does about half the dmg so I dont use it at all.
quote:Scrounger may very well be the most underrated perk there is. It's the one that ups your chances of finding ammo in containers. At first thought it seems like it wouldn't be worth it. In practice I could not disagree more. I NEVER run out of ammo. I haven't bought ammo since like level 8. I have three points into it (out of four) and right now I am finding approx 15-20 50.cal ammo in every third container. In addition to the gobs of .45 and .308.quote:WHAT THE HELL? Granted I don't think I've met a single vendor yet who had nearly anything to trade.
quote:Harder enemies have better weapons so as you venture further and further south of Diamond city you will start to get attacked by Raiders/Gunner/Super Mutants that are carrying more and more .45 and .308 rounds (although you will still get a lot of .38 as well) ... one tip is to always pick up a weapon if it has ammo you want because you will get the ammo in the weapon as well then you can immediately drop it to save carrying weight.quote:WHAT THE HELL? quote:Monkey dolls with glowing eyes and cymbals alert badguys nearby to your presence
Will I ever use subway tokens? Will they ever explain the monkey dolls with glowing eyes and cymbals?
quote:
Is that the Overseer's Guardian? I am thinking about trying to go get that next time I get to play.
quote:
I think there is some way to give the subway tokens to the subway programed protecterons so that they don't attack you.
Has anybody figured out what the different settings on the protecterons are good for? Like fire, for example. Or why'd I set it to subway rather than police?
quote:
Well tonight I pretty much turned the game into Fallout:Breaking Bad.
Been grinding at the chemist lab cooking up Jet by mixing plastics and fertilizer, then peddling Jet to any and all vendors at 40 caps a pop. Was gonna try to get to 100k in caps, but I finally started running low on fertilizer. Had over 2000 fertilizer when i started my drug dealing and would buy it from vendors when I sold my Jet. Also bought junk with plastic but still have plenty of plastics.
My product is all over the wasteland. I wish I could pull settlers off of their duties farming crops and put their asses to work scavenging for fertilizer and plastics and cooking up my dope.
quote:As part of "Old Guns" at the Castle or different?
Got the cannon tonight, haven't tested it yet.
