Same reason I paid the extra $30. Not so much the tier skips, but I liked the skins and blueprints, and I was going to get the season pass regardless.

As for your question regarding who is playing, we've had a group on discord, which will only increase IMO once Warzone 2.0 releases Nov 16th.

It's a series of prizes that you can unlock through xp...skins, blueprints, 2xp tokens, decorations for weapons, etc.

Typically you only have to buy one and then you earn enough tokens through the pass that has 100 tiers that you can unlock the next season so long as you complete the whole thing every time.

I think nostalgia is a large reason why so many folks (including myself) say MW2 was the best ever. It was a game changer at the time.

EDIT: I just now watched that youtube link after I posted this... pretty much agree with what he said.

Definitely a lot of nostalgia with MW2. MW3 actually toned it down on a lot of that stuff.

I can still go back and play BO2 and have a blast, so it's not always nostalgia with the old games. That's the thing I don't like about those types of videos generally. They try to discredit all the reasonable arguments about what's making MW2 2022 a worse game by pointing out completely separate BS that was in old games like noob tubes.

Treyarch just announced ranked is coming in 2023. Not surprising, but at least we're getting a ranked mode. CDL playlist will come in S1 in the meantime. I may pick up the game when that starts.

I'm really enjoying this game. You still see some people with crazy movement and it has been fun quick scoping. I really like the new weapon system. Most of the maps are fun and provide good cover for moving around. There are definitely a lot of areas where snipers can cover lanes, but there are weaknesses to those areas as well.

The battle rifles are absolute trash. Other than leveling them up for the grind, I can't see them being very viable unless they end up being better for warzone. Same with the M16. I max'd it out, but that was not a fun experience. I lost many fights I would have won with the M4.

Ranked will be a nice addition.

It does. So actually, people with multiplayer have an advantage because they can level up their weapons quicker.

The only thing I have seen is where you can manually input a clan tag.

It'll probably be available at the start of season 1. Lots of things missing at launch unfortunately

The lack of basic stats tracking at launch in a COD game in 2022 is mind blowing.

I want hardcore game modes back. And I really want an option for player mics to be muted as default.

Likely will be there start of "season 1" which is November 16th. But that's also when Warzone 2 launches, so they especially won't give a **** about multiplayer by then

I have everyone from the MW regiment still on my friends list, so I'd think it's still there once they enable regiments and we can add everyone that isn't on yet.

I am really liking the SCAR marksman rifle. Pretty good weapon.

My list so far:
SCAR 556
SPR
SAB
Bruen/Aug AR
All marksman rifles
Base pistol
Snipers but haven't unlocked last one

I've got a pretty killer M4 setup that I have been beasting with the past few nights. I'll have to look up which attachments I use, but I've pretty much focused on aim down sight speed as well as recoil control.

The SCAR is pretty kickass as well.

What I'm trying to figure out is which combination of killstreaks and perks work best for my play style. Right now I'm consistently rocking the UAV, Counter UAV, and then the SAE. Perks I'm running w/Scavenger, Bomb Squad & then Hardline as my Bonus Perk. Ultimate I am switching back and forth between Quick Fix and Ghost.

I wish more people would shoot down the UAVs or run with CUAV. I use to consistently try to shoot them down, but realized it hampered my play style pretty significantly instead of just running and gunning. I wish the worst players on the team would focus on taking down UAVs and let me bust everything else up.

This TTK is wild. They're actually discussing just bumping health up to 130% for pro league which is usually a no-no.

I'm that guy shooting down every uav/counter uav trying to level up launchers while leveling up normal guns. It is NOT easy when you're the only one playing the objective on top of all that. Uav/cruise missile/vtol is my go to for streaks.

SCAR 556/STRELA/C4 is one of my load outs.

Got the FOMO and bought the game in prep for ranked play. Jesus the camping is just so excessive.

Also the fact that I have to progress an AR like 7 times to get an SMG I want is insane.
