I think the point is…. It's *not* pico…


This is like the beans in chili argument. I couldn't care less what it's called. I like corn salsa more than pico and use it in all the same ways.


But when the menu says pico, most people don't expect/want corn salsa. They are different dishes.


But there are still numerous instances of corn in pico. It's not like it's an unheard of addition by any means. It wouldn't be the first restaurant to change up traditional ingredients.

I always make sure to wear "table clothes" when I sit down to sup. I don't want my fellow blue bloods to think I dress too casually while dining.

Can we get a breakfast thread going? I always come on here hoping for a new breakfast/brunch place. My kids don't like Mexican food for breakfast so we're limited. I could eat Mexican food for breakfast literally ever day. I had enchiladas for breakfast on Christmas day. My mom may make the best enchiladas in America.

I say kids but one is in college and she's not into pancakes either. She wants sweet Paris almost every time she is in town. And their food is about as bland as can be if you don't like crepes.

Have you tried Another Broken Egg at Jones Crossing? I thought it was good along with the Sunday brunch menu at De Baca Steakhouse.

I love their food.


But MESS Waffles is really good as well. We also like Snooze, Toasted Yolk, and Stella. Not a fan of Another Broken Egg.

3rd on Main is ALWAYS fantastic.

They changed to a brunch menu a bit over a month ago and it is reasonable.

Another Broken Egg is amazing- their seafood/Cajun omelets and such are fantastic.

I'd say that anything that has the irregular and variable hours of Hullabaloo qualifies more as a popup than a restaurant. The fact that they are anchored to one location is irrelevant. I never even consider going there because TexAgs makes it clear that there is at least an even chance they aren't open….. quality of food is really not relevant when I can't count on access.

There schedule has been the same since COVID. They post their menu on social media on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

This isn't difficult.

Or you can keep going off of hearsay from the Aggieland board. The same people who gave blue stars to the genius that said "we have always been able to order from the speaker at La Familia" even though it's just flat out wrong.
