Decades of incentivizing the breakdown of the family unit. Have seen the same with urban hispanics in recent years, albeit to a lesser degree. Long term welfare is extremely destructive and incentivizes all of the wrong behaviors and habits. Go look at videos of 1960's black South Central. Families intact, well kept yards, people dressing like everyone else etc.

Not placing all of the blame here, but it's diabolical what the democrats have done since the 60's and it has definitely contributed. Again, Thomas Sowell breaks this down statistically and in great detail. You had black community doctors, businesses, black school scores on par with whites etc. Was not a large gap in any important metric between average whites and average blacks in the pre-civil rights/Great Society era.

Just watch what they are doing with so many immigrant groups like the Somalis. Even illegals. Getting them hooked on welfare, EBT, and housing and other entitlements from the get go. Buying their votes and hoping they spit out endless babies.

Take two rich kids...one father makes his son work for everything, maybe rewards him every now and then. The other just bankrolls his son through life, never teaching him independence. Which kid is more likely to be a deadbeat and potentially a criminal or degenerate?

Again, not placing ALL blame here, but it's a very significant factor imo. We are literally paying people to breed who have no business breeding. They'd definitely be more careful without a never ending "safety net".
