I read that he was shot and killed by his roommate, which seems a little odd. Not that that excuses the break in of course.

Hang them, then deport their bodies.

Eff that. Deporting their bodies costs money. Toss them in the gulf and be done with it. Crabs need to eat too.

There are more than enough gators between Houston and Lake Charles. They also need to eat as well.

It ain't called "Pappabro's" for nothing. And depending on location (looking at you Souf Loop), usually next to a "Pappasista's".

Last time I ate at the south loop one it wasn't bad at all, both on that front and on the service and food.

Can't say the same for the 59 location in Sugar Land. I won't ever go back to that one again. Everything about that meal was terrible, from the food to the service to most of the clientele.

Stop at the 1960 location for lunch ever time we fly into town to visit the in-laws. Always good food an service...at least last time we went in May 2025. Hope it doesn't change.

Charlie Daniels said it best:

As far as I'm concerned, there ain't no excuse
For the raping and the killing and the child abuse
And I've got a way to put an end to all that mess

Just take them rascals out in the swamp
Put 'em on their knees and tie 'em to a stump
Let the rattlers and the bugs and the alligators do the rest

208 bodies is the current official count since 2017. That's roughly 23 floaters a year, or 2 per month-ish.

My strong belief is still that most of them are homeless folks.

Same.

You see these folks all over and whatever drug they're on they look like zombies stumbling around. No chance that a person on whatever crap that is could pull their ass out of a bayou before drowning.

You'd think there would be a little more transparency, that we would have insight into how many were investigated as homicides or confirmed to be such. Typically it's pretty easy to determine homicide victims from suicide/accidental drowninig victims. Has anyone seen a breakdown of how many were believed to be murdered?

Many of them could very well be homicides, but most of society doesn't really care much about bum on bum violence. I'm guilty of it too.

Everything is deadlier than ICE. You literally have to try to kill an ICE officer, or make them legitimately fear for their life to be at risk of being harmed by one.

Dont attempt to murder one or come in swining and wrestling while carrying a firearm and you should be good. I know that's hard for some liberals though.

Be more afraid of County Boys aka Sheriff deputies than ICE.

Especially if they are wearing Oakley sunglasses.
