Think I'm going to take a couple weeks off the Reta. Been having pretty bothersome stomach issues this week. Really bad reflux at night last couple nights. Plus just a general feeling of GI yuckiness.

Will give it a break then try some more. Any ideas on better managing that type of thing?

What's the dosage amount and are you doing weekly injections or a couple per week. A lot of folks have been splitting them into two or three shots per week to help with the GI issues.

I have been splitting it up. .5 every third day. Start early February and had some minor issues, but it was bearable and not too bad.

I know I am predisposed to the issue of the reflux. Reta has actually been easier to deal with than when I tried ozempic several years ago. Have had very little issue overall. Just the last week or so been feeling off and what was occasional reflux, has gotten worse and more frequent.

I'm ok with taking a break and then starting back up. Have seen good results.

thanks for the rec for tesa. About to incorporate MOT-C with my Reta campaign. Any experience or recommendations on MOT-C?

I've been on TRT since 2023, and felt CJC/IPA added another level of energy to the TRT.

I initially purchased 4 vials of 5/5 mg that lasted me 4-5 weeks, and actually just used up the last vial last night. I'll update in the next few weeks if I see energy decrease.

I would suggest injecting maybe an hour before going to bed. I usually inject around 9pm and go to sleep at 10p without issues. But I can understand not being able to sleep given the flush, sting, etc.

this will sound silly, but try Tums Chewy Bites for heartburn relief. I saw this in my reels feed once and it has helped me. Sometimes I wake up in the night with bad burn, I'll pop one of these and by the time I get back in bed it's subsided.

Run SS-31 first for 21 days or run it along with Motsc and alternate. SS31 Monday Thursday and Motsc Tuesday Friday.

It's a good protocol to do, but you may or may not "feel" anything. Some people with jacked up mitochondria respond really well, but if you're in decent shape you may not notice much, but it's good to run at least once a year.

I did ss31 and Motsc on my first cycle this year and now am running Humanin for the mito portion of my peptide cycle.

Brand new to this, was hoping for a little guidance. 45 year old male, looking to lose fat/build muscle. Summarized this thread via Gemini and was going to start Tesamorelin and a IPA/CJC Blend.

Wasn't sure about dosing, any suggestions?

I would highly encourage you to read through the thread. There is tons of good info, websites and anecdotes that ai can't capture. AI and Reddit get so much crap wrong in the peptide space.

Plus it's your health, and you're looking for a change, so educating yourself is the best first step. Congrats!

I wouldn't waste my time with cjc, just do ipamorelin and tesamorelin.

Assuming you are eating right and lifting, get your testosterone optimized, use Retatrutide and HGH, and support that with peptide cycles.

agree with MosesHallEnforcer, take some time to read the thread because there are several options. However, I would suggest a baseline of Reta for weight loss and Ipamorelin and/or Tesamorelin for muscle building.

Keep in mind these are supplements, not miracle products. You need your diet and macros dialed in, as well as incorporating exercise/activities/weightlifting.

Also check out peptidedosages.com for protocols.

Appreciate the responses. Workout regularly and eat well, and am pretty fit, not trying to lose weight, just want more muscle/less fat, feel a bit better, etc.

Will go through the thread, thanks again!

I don't know if it has anything to do with the flush/sting. More so to do with just general restlessness after I inject.

I was also taking it an hour or so before bed fasted. Might try to take it in the morning and see how that goes.

I've actually started KPV for gut/reflux issues. So far so good. For reference I'm also on Reta and Ghk-cu

Sounds like you have it dialed in and just need a boost. Definitely try Reta for fat loss and IPA and/or Tesa for muscle build. Have you checked your testosterone? TRT was a gamechanger for me.

Saw your post about it. Actually sourced somebody haven't purchased yet. Got busy and forgot.

Have you noticed it working?

I'm only a week in so I admit it's probably not been long enough to really work but fwiw I haven't had much if any acid reflux or burping up from my belly like I have been

Had testosterone checked a few years ago, was normal. Planning on starting what I had posted above to see how it works and go from there. Thanks!

Not sure exactly which post you're referring to, but if you're going to run GH secretagogues, you need to pair one of tesamorelin or CJC with your ipamorelin, not both. CJC and tesa are both GHRH peptides and act on the same receptors and pathways, so you don't need that redundancy.

Ipamorelin is a GHRP, so it's synergistic with a GHRH.

Edit to add... You can do it as you wish, of course, but I think most would recommend only one GHRH in your stack.

Finished up my 12-week cycle of Tesamorelin this week. Goal was to get rid of visceral fat.

Feb DEXA scan (4 weeks into cycle): 201cm^2 visceral fat
Today's DEXA scan (post-cycle): 136cm^2 visceral fat

Is it still too high? Yes. But am I enormously happy with a 33% decrease in only 8 weeks? Also yes. It actually beat the clinical testing data for Tesamorelin (15-18% reduction in 26 weeks).

DEXA was also good as a calibration for my Withings body scan scale, which is consistently 2-4% higher than the DEXA scan for body fat, and it underestimated the difference in my visceral fat.

Granted, the GH element of Tesa spiked my insulin resistance numbers, as mentioned above, but I'll get some more bloods done in 6-8 weeks and hopefully that'll all normalise a bit.
