I'm embarrassed... I keep forgetting our actual age, and so I think it's impossible that Joey could have been Ian's nephew. So my brain keep converting that to brother-in-law for some reason. Ugh. At any rate, I've had several conversations with your brother about Joey and how much he is missed, and I am extremely proud of the Aggie family for keeping his memory and legacy alive. And I can testify firsthand how much your brother loves you.

From the report I just pulled, more than $2,400 has been given for the Joey Villavisencio Fund through our online donation form.

This number only includes credit and debit card donations.

I am getting the social media sites set up. In order to secure a unique facebook url (internet address), I need 25 people to "Like" the page. So, do me a favor, accept that there's not much content on the page, but head over to facebook and like the page.

As soon as we get enough people I'll secure a unique url and post it so you all can help spread the word.

My conversation with Christine V. is this afternoon, and I'll do my best to get some content up. I'll also get the Twitter account running ASAP after that convo. Unfortunately, I have a dinner thing for my wife's office tonight, so adding content today may be limited. But I'm going to either burn a little midnight oil or make an early Starbucks run in the morning and get working again!

Ok, Facebook is ready to go, as is twitter! Not much content yet, as stated before, but I'm about to have to leave or lose my marriage!

Anyway, I had a great conversation with Mrs. Villavisencio, and learned a lot about Joseph, including that he was a major Radiohead fan (Hail to the Thief...).

This is probably my 5th post in many years. I know y'all have a term for ags like me that stalk the TexAgs forums but never post. In any case, I felt this was very much worth the cause.

For those of you that have already donated, I challenge you to find 3 others to follow your lead.

1000 aggies donating $25 OR
250 aggies donating $25 and finding 3 others to do the same.

New Blog is up and running Ags! This is where we will post Joseph's bio and any extended information that is too long for Facebook or Twitter. The first post is up, and simply explains how this got off the ground and how people can give. It's like Vore-ing with your money.

We have 5 years to hit the mark, and the foundation will work directly with the family to determine how to disperse the funds should the mark not be met.

For example, if we hit 20, 000 the family could elect to give out 20 $1, 000 scholarships, etc.
